IT Home News on March 3, Micron released the PCI-Express 4.0 (x4) NVMe SSD for data centers on March 1 local time, using 176 layers of 3D NAND flash memory.

By combining the high-speed interface with the latest NAND flash memory, the Micron 7450 SSD has reduced latency by nearly half compared to SATA SSDs. Under mixed random workloads, latency drops to 2 milliseconds or less.

The Micron 7450 SSD is available in two product families: the Micron 7450 PRO SSD and the Micron 7450 MAX SSD. Available in capacities from 400GB to 15.36TB in U.3 (7mm / 15mm), E1. S(5.9mm/15mm/25mm) and M.2 (2280/22110).

IT Home learned that the Micron 7450 SSD transmission speed is 6,800MB/s read, 5,600MB/s write, 1 million IOPS read randomly, 410,000 IOPS written, standard latency is read 80s, write 15s, MEAN between failures is 2 million hours, and the product warranty is 5 years.
