The report mentions that global PC shipments reached 90.3 million units in the fourth quarter of 2021, maintaining a year-on-year growth momentum of 3.1%. Shipment forecasts for the first quarter of 2022 remain positive, mainly due to strong demand and improved parts supply.

In terms of specific manufacturer shipment performance, Lenovo still occupies the first place, with shipments reaching 21.7 million units. Although shipments decreased by 3% year-on-year, they still led the global PC market with a 24% share.

HP's shipments increased 1% year-over-year to 18.5 million, ranking second in the global PC market with a 20.5% share, while Dell ranked in the top three with 15% year-over-year growth, bringing shipments to 17.2 million and a market share of 19%.

Apple ranked fourth, with shipments down 1% year-on-year, basically unchanged, and became the fourth place in the global PC market with a market share of 8%.

In addition, market research institutes Canalys and IDC have also previously announced the shipments of the PC market in the fourth quarter and full year of 2021.

According to Canalys, Lenovo ranked first in the PC market with 21.7 million units in the fourth quarter of last year, and although it fell 6.5% year-on-year, it still ranked first in the full-year ranking.
