But even so, for Dong Mingzhu at that time, Yinlong was still a huge cake, so in the end she spent 3 billion yuan in the name of herself, together with Wang Jianlin and others, to win 17.46% of the shares of the company.
It is worth noting that in 2018, the development of the company was still relatively good, and its sales of new energy buses were 7278 units, an increase of 9.84% compared with 2017. And in the bus sales ranking of that year, it ranked third. But after Dong Mingzhu acquired 100% of the company, its ranking fell to seventh. What's going on?
Specifically, in 2021, Dong Mingzhu spent 1.83 billion yuan to win 30.47% of the shares of Yinlong, plus she still held shares in the company before, that is to say, she spent 2.83 billion yuan to take down Yinlong, becoming the largest shareholder of the company and also its manager.
After she took over, the company's ranking in the field of new energy buses declined, mainly due to two factors. First of all, as early as the directors of Gree made a negative decision, the directors of Yinlong had accidents one after another.
After making a mistake, the company's Wei Yincang and Sun Guohua were prepared to flee to the United States, and the other was restricted from leaving the country. When the company's managers and directors are in trouble, the company's development will most likely be affected to a certain extent.
In addition, Dong Mingzhu himself does not have much experience in the development of the automotive field, so he is still lacking in this regard.
