According to the data, among the best-selling models in the United States, the Ford F series ranked first, with total sales of 726004 units, followed by the Dow Flag Ram series pickup trucks and Chevrolet Silverado. South American consumers also love pickup trucks, in the Brazilian market, Fiat Strada ranked first with 109107, accounting for 5.5% of the market, Hyundai HB20 hatchback and Fiat Argo ranked second and third.
As one of the largest car companies in Germany, Volkswagen dominates the top three in the German auto market, namely Volkswagen Golf, Volkswagen T-Roc and Volkswagen Tiguan, with sales of 91621, 57424 and 55527 units respectively. In France, Europe's second-largest auto market, Peugeot beat the Renault Clio with 88,037 units in 2008, the first time since 2004 that Peugeot's small B-Class hatchback surpassed that rival, while Dacia Sandero unexpectedly finished third, with an annual growth of 44%.
In the Uk market, the top three are Vauxhall Corsa, Tesla Model 3 and MINI; the top three in the Russian market are Lada Vesta, Lada Granta and Kia Rio; and the Italian market is Fiat Panda, Fiat 500, lancia Ypsilon.
Motor1 does not count the Chinese auto market, but according to the data released by the Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the top sales volume of the car market is Nissan Xuanyi, with annual sales of 513207, Volkswagen New Langyi ranked second with 432035, and Hongguang MINI EV ranked third with 395451. In the SUV market, the Haval H6 ranked first, with annual sales of more than 360,000 vehicles. In the MPV market, Wuling Hongguang ranked first, with annual sales of more than 280,000 vehicles.
Although Tesla is very hot in the electric vehicle market, it is still too inconspicuous in the entire global market, and the gap between production capacity and sales compared with the old car companies is too far, and it is difficult to catch up with it in two or three years. Wuling Hongguang continues to be a god in China, and the Hongguang MINI EV continues its sales myth, and it is estimated that BYD, Tesla, etc. have to admire it when they see it.
Last year, the models on the list of countries around the world were basically fuel vehicles, although the rapid development of electric vehicles, major car companies are also actively transforming, but the volume is still too small, accounting for less than a large share in the global car market. Enthusiasm for electric vehicles in overseas markets may not be high, but China is definitely the fastest growing country in the world for electric vehicles.
