M7 also adopts leading MEMS solid-state lidar technology and 32 top-of-the-line intelligent driving perception hardware, which can meet the perception capabilities and needs of complex light, road conditions and weather conditions in different scenarios such as urban areas and high speeds. The perception hardware needs more powerful computing power platform support in order to improve the intelligent driving performance of the M7. The M7 is the first batch of 4 Orin-X top autonomous driving chips in the world, with a maximum computing power of up to 1016TOPS.
Released in 2021, 2022 to choose mass production, the time when WM launched M7 is precisely the stage of the entire new energy expansion and continuous improvement of penetration.
