Qingwei | missed my high school Chinese teacher Liu Rumeng

(Second from the left is Teacher Liu)

Time flies so fast, and it has been more than three years since my high school Chinese teacher, Mr. Liu Rumeng, left us.

Teacher Liu Rumeng and President Zhang Wenxiu are both graduates of Shandong Normal University, old undergraduates in the 50s, one teaches us Chinese, the other teaches us mathematics. Teacher Liu grew up in a poor peasant family in Wang Haotun Town, Mudan District, and stepped into the highest normal school in Shandong by her own struggle, graduated from Shandong Normal University, which was set up at the beginning of the establishment of Shandong Normal University, with profound cultural accumulation and long vein, majoring in Chinese language and literature. He has successively taught at Heze Normal College and Heze No. 2 Middle School, the first batch of special teachers in Shandong Province, the provincial outstanding class teacher, and the retired former deputy director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Heze City (county level).

It seems that I heard that his name was originally called Liu Rumeng, Mencius's "Meng", who wrote the "Bullshit Collection" that spoke for the people, dared to tell the truth, and swept Heze, almost classified as a rightist, squatted in the cowshed, suffered a lot of criticism, and later changed to the "dream" of "life is like a dream".

Teacher Liu with deep glasses, deep vision, stubborn spirit, knowledgeable, humble and kind, I have been to the southwest corner of the school family hospital his home, once into the door in addition to books, or books, full of 5 bookshelves to preserve his high school, college, work after the collection of various editions, a variety of books. He later moved to the northwest corner of the school.

After retirement, he went to live on the first floor of the Waterfront Garden on the north side of Huaying Road in the city, and his family was still in addition to books or books. I have been there many times, and every time I see Teacher Liu, who is nearly old, mentally strong, physically tough, and gratifying, every time I go to go to remove a little fruit, I have to carry him a few books that I think he wants to read, and I don't want to part in April 2018 but it will be forever.

"Words should be written conscientiously, texts should be read carefully and carefully, and compositions should be done in a down-to-earth manner." This is the basic method of learning Chinese taught to us by Teacher Liu, and it has become a common practice for me to write it on the title page of the language textbook every time a new book is issued. Listening to his lessons is a treat, alive, vivid, fun, and never pretentious. Teacher Liu never reads the subject according to the script in class, but flows in the clouds, is a school of its own, seemingly understated, but in fact, it is unique, turning stones into gold, and finally suddenly enlightened. What he teaches does not deviate from the textbook but also extends to the extracurricular, and he learns from the sidelines, goes deep and simple, follows the good examples, and does not trace, not only allowing us to learn knowledge, but also to learn the principles of life and the philosophy of life. When he was lecturing, he often said a sentence that was "you see, it's far away again," but we don't think that we still want to continue listening, we don't want him to take it back, in fact, what he is talking about is in the class.

"Once the sea was shipwrecked as water, but the Wushan Mountain was not a cloud," this is a famous sentence that I learned when Teacher Liu Rumeng taught us the late Tang Dynasty poet Li Shangyin's "Night Rain Sends North" in the second half of my sophomore year of high school. It turned out that I had also read the fourth song of Yuan Shu's "Five Songs of Departure", "Once the sea was shipwrecked as water, except for Wushan mountain is not a cloud." Take the second flower bush lazy review, half edge monasticism half edge jun. "Verses, but the editor is born late, lacks basic love cells, does not know the mystery and true meaning implied in it, and is suddenly enlightened by Teacher Liu's guidance. It turns out that the author likens the feelings for the deceased wife and the deceased wife to the greatest and most beautiful sea and the cloud of the Witch Mountain formed by the goddess, in contrast, any water or cloud is darkly discolored. As far as the mood of the whole poem is concerned, it is not vulgar, magnificent but not flashy, tragic and not low, creating a unique realm in the Tang dynasty mourning sentences. This absolute sentence of Yuan Shu is not only extremely highly eloquent and lyrical, but also uses a wonderful pen. The first two sentences are written in the most extreme metaphors to remember the mourning of the death, and the words "canghai" and "wuyun" have heroic meanings, and there is a trend of tragic songs and rivers rushing. The last two sentences of "lazy review" and "half yuanjun" suddenly soothe the tone and turn into a deep lyricism. In particular, "once the sea was shipwrecked as water, except for Wushan Mountain, it is not a cloud." The second sentence, which has always been recited by people, is not only the pinnacle of Yuan Shu's poems, but also the Tang and Song poems, and the works of yongqing can be expected to be carried out by very few people.

The two Language classes that impressed me the most were "Peacock Southeast Flying" and Mr. Lu Xun's "A Q Zheng Biography". It seems that a classmate asked, "Teacher, why don't peacocks fly southeast and northwest?" I can't remember how Teacher Liu explained it, it was my turn to explain the text "Feeling The King's District Huai" sentence, I did not follow the answer of the teaching assistant at that time, casually came up with a sentence of "Thank you for the love you gave me", the whole class laughed, Teacher Liu was serious, and his eyes showed affirmation and approval.

I still remember vividly today when explaining the opening remarks of "The True Biography of Ah Q", and Teacher Liu said at the beginning of the class: "In the early 1920s, a novel that shook society appeared in the Chinese literary circles. When this novel was still serialized in the press, it made those upright gentlemen and gentry officials very frightened, thinking that they were writing about themselves, and one after another demanded to trace the author, which is the "A Q Zheng Biography" that we are going to study today. "All of a sudden, we were in a hurry to learn, and I liked to read "A Q Zheng Biography" the most. I clearly remember that in order to brag about his relationship with Li Yuanhong, the president of the National Congress of the Republic of China, the "fake foreign devils" spoke with white eyes and said vigorously, and everyone said: "I am impatient, so we meet, and I always say: Brother Hong!" Let's do it!" and he always said, "No! No!—this is a foreign language, you don't understand. Otherwise it would have been successful long ago. He repeatedly invited me to Hubei, and I still hadn't agreed. Who wants to do things in this small county. But I deeply resent the "spiritual victory method" that Mr. Lu Xun has created that is universal in the "soul of the Chinese people."

On the twentieth anniversary of graduation, at my initiative, our liberal arts class held a grand gathering, the old principal and the subject teachers all came, at that time, Teacher Liu was still living in the West Family Hospital of the school, he came to the scene early, one by one to inquire about the work and study of the students, or so concerned and concerned about his beloved students.

Later, I embarked on the road of literary creation, largely due to the influence and help of Teacher Liu, in my life, Teacher Liu had a great influence on me, which broke my heart, he was the most admired and favorite Chinese teacher in my high school.

Teacher Liu, I remembered your voice and smile again, as if I saw the back of your class, and the students will always miss you!
