What is the difference between a basic AEB and a full AEB
The basic AEB mainly relies on the detection results of millimeter-wave radar, but millimeter-wave radar has a detection range, as long as objects within this range are detected by millimeter-wave radar, it will be fed back to the driver indiscriminately. For example, vehicles parked around are just within the radar detection range, and even if there is no danger, they will be mistaken by radar as dangerous goods.
Then it will give the driver a danger warning, at this time the warning is a false alarm, which can easily affect the normal judgment of the driver. In order to control such false positives, a lot of data had to be filtered out eventually. However, in the process of filtering data, it is difficult to keep the accuracy of the radar at the equilibrium value, so this also leads to the instability of the radar recognition accuracy.
In order to control the radar accuracy at infinity close to 100%, the ideal car chooses to integrate visual perception into AEB, so the complete AEB after the introduction of vision can accurately detect pedestrians and cyclists, when the driver has not yet reacted, the algorithm combined with visual induction will replace the human brain response to make brakes, and give timely warnings.
Why choose the Horizon J3 chip
Ideal Car is the world's third car manufacturer with full-stack self-development capabilities after Tesla and Xiaopeng, and the vast majority of models on the market are equipped with AEB functions from suppliers, although the supplier's technology is relatively mature, but because of the lack of technical interoperability, car companies can not redefine it according to their own wishes.

NoA, on the other hand, has more autonomy, and is even able to react one step ahead of the human brain.
The NOA can enter and exit the ramp according to the route set by the navigation, switch to high speed, and reduce the speed according to the maximum speed limit of different sections of the road, avoiding speeding when the user does not react. It can also identify the surrounding traffic speed and remind the user to enter the fast lane and overtake at the appropriate time. This can help novice drivers to complete high-speed driving, but also avoid drivers because they are not familiar with the road conditions, fatigue, distraction and miss or take the wrong ramp, exit.
