Daily Gansu Network, January 20 (Benliu News Lanzhou Morning News reporter Ouyang Haijie) On January 5, a solemn farewell ceremony was held at the Second Hospital of Lanzhou University. The deceased was Pingping (pseudonym), an 11-year-old girl who died in a car accident on her way home from school. Enduring great grief, the parents donated their daughter's useful organs to bring five dying lives back to life.

Pingping is beautiful and good at studying, and her life has just begun.

On January 3, Pingping unfortunately suffered a serious car accident on the way home from school, and was urgently sent to the Department of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine of the Second Hospital of Lanzhou University, and after the multidisciplinary treatment of the Children's Hospital and the whole hospital, the medical staff regretted that she could not save the child's fresh life due to her serious injuries.

The sudden bad news was a huge blow to Pingping's parents, and in the process of communicating with them for treatment, Pingping's parents still did not want to believe that the lively and lovely child had left like this. Heartbroken parting, too much reluctance, great grief, they resolutely made the decision to donate their children's organs. Donating her daughter's organs has helped more people in need and allowed Pingping's life to continue in another way.

Pingping's father said that he hopes that his daughter can feel the beauty of the world in another way at the end of her life, so that other patients in need of help can be reborn. "Even if I don't know who the other person is, as long as we live in the same world!" Pingping's father told reporters: "My daughter's academic performance is among the best, self-motivated, and she is also a good child with a cheerful and helpful personality, and I believe that children must also be willing to leave the world with this gift of life." ”

On 5 January, one of Pingping's livers and two kidneys were transplanted to three critically ill patients, and two corneas were also transplanted to two patients with eye diseases.

Life is short and precious, and the use of organ donation to bring life to an end is another continuation of life.

Pingping, thank you for ever being here!
