1. Daughter of the Iron Hat King
On June 13, 1653, in the tenth year of Shunzhi (1653), Princess Gulun Duanmin was born in prince Zheng's mansion in Damucang Hutong, outside the Chaoyang Gate of Beijing, the father of Jidu, the Prince of Jianchun, and the mother of Jidu Fujin Borjigit.
In fact, even if Duan Min did not enter the palace, her status was not low.
Duan Min's father Ji Du was the second son of Zilharang the Prince of Zheng, Zilharang We all know that one of the eight iron hat kings in the early Qing Dynasty was the only uncle of the Qing Dynasty except Dolgun, after the death of Zilharang, his second son Jidu inherited the title of Prince, changed his title to Jane, called Prince Jian, that is to say, Duan Min was the daughter of The Iron Hat King Jidu.
In addition, DuanMin's mother, Borjigit, was not small, and the Borjigit clan came from the Horqin tribe of Mongolia and was the daughter of the Zhenguo Duke Naoerji.
Maybe everyone is a little unfamiliar with the name of Nao'erji, but we just need to know that he is Shunzhi's cousin. Moreover, two other daughters were incorporated into the harem by the Shunzhi Emperor in the eleventh year of Shunzhi, the second year of Duan Min's birth, and they were Empress Xiaohuizhang of the Middle Palace and later Concubine Shuhui.
That is to say, Duan Min's mother and The second empress of Shunzhi, Empress Xiaohuizhang, were sisters, that is, Duan Min was the niece of empress dowager of the Qing Dynasty.
Her father is the Iron Hat King, her mother is her father's concubine Fujin, her maternal grandfather is the current emperor's cousin and father-in-law, and her aunt is the current Empress of the Qing Dynasty, Duan Min's life is really good and can't be better, so from the moment Duan Min was born, she enjoyed extraordinary treatment, such a birth environment made Duan Min develop an arrogant and willful, even violent character from an early age.
2. Adopted daughter of the Emperor of the Qing Dynasty
Shunzhi was the first emperor of the Qing Dynasty after entering the Customs, and he succeeded to the throne at the age of six. After growing up, although this young Tianzi also married many concubines, the probability of his children dying was particularly high, for example, Shunzhi's six biological daughters, only the second daughter of the emperor survived, which made Shunzhi and the imperial family very headache, the emperor's daughter did not directly affect the marriage with Mongolia, therefore, Shunzhi successively put the daughters of three brothers into the palace as adopted daughters.
The first was the daughter of Shuo Sai the Prince of Seungze, who was given the title of Princess Heshuo and Shun, and married Shang Zhilong, the son of Shang Kexi of Pingnan. In November of the year when Duan Min was six years old (the sixteenth year of Shunzhi), the Prince of Horqin entered the capital to see him, and the foreman was Empress Xiaozhuang's brother Wang Manzhu Xili of Darhan County, that is, the uncle of the Shunzhi Emperor, during this visit, Duan Min's marriage was finalized, and she was going to marry the eldest grandson of Manzhu Xili, that is, her mother's cousin Bandi (Note: Duanmin's mother Borjigit's grandfather Chahan and Bandi's grandfather Manzhu Xili were brothers, because they were cousins, and the cousins were the nephews and nephews of Xiaozhuang's mother).
3. The sister who was disgusted by Kangxi
In the blink of an eye, it came to the ninth year of the Kangxi Dynasty (1670), which was a year of sorrow and joy for Duan Min. First of all, in March of this year, the younger brother of one of her mother's compatriots, Desai (the third son of Jidu), who was Duan Min's only sibling, died, and after the death of Jidu in the seventeenth year of Shunzhi, Desai inherited the title of Prince of Jane, but did not think that Desai only lived for 17 years and died, and he was unable to leave a man and a half woman around. In this way, Prince Jian had to be exiled to the branch of Shu, and sure enough, Ji Du's second son, Labu, became the new Prince Jian.
In Duan Min's eyes, only the younger brother Desai, who is a compatriot with his own mother, is his own brother, and the other children of his father are basically not in her eyes, according to the difference between concubines at that time, these brothers and sisters did not deserve to carry their shoes, and now they have inherited their father's title, just like the dove occupying the magpie's nest, so that Duan Min is like a fish in the throat, but she can't take care of these, in September of this year, Duan Min stepped on the wedding car to Korqin and married Bandi.
In the twentieth year of the Kangxi Dynasty, the fourth Prince of Jian, Labu, also died, and subsequently, Jidu's fifth son, Yabu, inherited the title of Prince of Jian, Yabu was Labu's half-brother, and the two brothers who inherited their father's title made no difference to Duan Min, so Duan Min also did not take this younger brother seriously.
It is said that once, Duan Min went home to save his relatives, Yabu's Fujin Xilin Jue Luoshi came to ask her for peace, who knew that Duan Min but put Xi Lin Jue Luoshi hanging in the concierge for most of the day, in the end still did not see this sister-in-law, back home Xi Lin Jue Luoshi complained to her husband Yabu, Yabu comforted his wife, saying that Princess Duanmin has always been so arrogant and arrogant, and will no longer take the initiative to contact it in the future.
In the fifty-sixth year of Kangxi, the new Prince of Jian, Yaerjiang'a, made a speech to Kangxi, saying that he should not marry his daughter to The family of Princess Duanmin, which shows that the relationship between Yaerjiang'a and his aunt Duanmin is also very bad, to which Kangxi replied: "Xiang is deeply aware of this matter, and your request has been remembered. Princess Duanmin is obedient and violent, not only your father, she is at odds with everyone. ”
Seeing that, even Kangxi was very disgusted with this sister, saying that her relationship with everyone was not good. If it were not for the love of Empress Renxian (Empress Xiaohuizhang), perhaps Kangxi would have torn his face with this sister long ago.
4. Jin was enfeoffed as the Princess of Gulun
Kangxi said that Princess Duanmin's relationship with everyone was not good, perhaps inaccurate, with one exception, he was Kangxi's fourth son Yin Chan, who later succeeded to the throne. Why?
It turned out that among the ministers whom Prince Jian had befriended, there was a man named Sunu, who was the great-grandson of Guangluo Belle Chuying, and was a cousin of Yarjiang'a and Yin Chan. However, this Sunu is the wing of the Eight Brothers, and Yarjiang'a has a good relationship with Sunu, that is to say, Yarjiang'a is also a member of the Eight Masters' party.
After Yongzheng succeeded to the throne, the liquidation of the Eight Masters' party spread to Yaerjiang'a, and Yongzheng ordered the removal of the iron hat king on Yarjiang'a's head, saying: "The incident handed over by Yongzheng is careless, and he is afraid of rebels such as Yunyu and Sunu." ”
As the saying goes, the enemy of the enemy is his friend, Duan Min and his nephew Yaer Jiang'a are at odds, Yongzheng liquidated Yar Jiang'a, then, Duan Min's relationship with his nephew YongZheng is definitely good.
Sure enough, in the second year of Yongzheng's succession, he ordered Duan Minjin to be crowned Princess Gulun, because Duan Min was the adopted daughter of the Shunzhi Emperor and could only be named Princess Heshuo according to the regulations. At the beginning, Duan Min also married to Horqin as Princess Heshuo, and after Yongzheng succeeded to the throne, he deliberately added grace and crowned his aunt Duan Minjin as Princess Gulun:
"Princess Duanmin and the Grand Princess and the Four Princesses are all princesses of Neili, and because they were not yet a hundred days old, they did not give orders, and now Princess Duanmin, the Grand Princess, and the Four Princesses are all crowned as Princess Gulun."
On May 18, the seventh year of Yongzheng, Duan Min, who had been the princess of Gulun for seven years, died at the age of 77, this Princess of the Qing Dynasty, who was disgusted by Kangxi, did not expect to get unexpected gains in her later years, and I have to say that we must look at people when we make friends, otherwise, it will cause disasters.
