After the Qing Dynasty entered the customs, it also began to pay attention to this aspect of things, of which Shunzhi was more superstitious, and firmly believed in Buddhism, so he often talked with some senior monks, once the Shunzhi Emperor asked the senior monk a question, the senior monk did not say at first, and then thought about it before saying, Shunzhi asked the senior monk: "What is the national fortune of the Qing Dynasty?" The senior monk thought about it, so he said eight words, these eight words are "I am not crippled, the country is not destroyed", the Shunzhi Emperor wanted the senior monk to explain it, but the senior monk just refused to say, the Shunzhi Emperor continued to ask: "How many generations can the Great Qing be passed on?" The senior monk thought about it and said: "The ten emperors reigned and the nine emperors were imprisoned, and there was also an emperor in Youzhou", after saying that the senior monk resigned, the Shunzhi Emperor knew that this was a heavenly opportunity and could not leak, so he did not force the monk to leave, so he let the monk go, and then wrote down the matter. But this matter spread more and more in the folk, for a time the news of the boiling, many fortune tellers know the meaning, but no one dares to say it, so this matter is passed down for many generations, many descendants of the emperor know about this matter.
Until February 12, 1912, Yuan Shikai forced the late Qing Emperor Puyi to abdicate, Empress Longyu accepted preferential conditions, issued an abdication edict, the Qing Dynasty has since gone to extinction, and it has since ended, many descendants of the imperial family have understood the prophecy of the senior monks, the so-called "I am not crippled, the country is not destroyed", that is, the Qing Dynasty can only be transmitted to Puyi, which is over, because Puyi's traditional character for Yi is "儀", and people usually have to avoid this word when they encounter it, because they cannot be the same word as the emperor. Therefore, when writing this word, it is often necessary to write less than one stroke, so this word is often a residual word, because no one dares to write the last stroke, so "I am not disabled" refers to the end of the Qing Dynasty to Puyi.
And there is also a sentence called "Ten emperors reigned nine emperors prisoner, and one emperor in Youzhou", which refers to the fact that Empress Dowager Cixi imprisoned Guangxu in Yingtai, and Guangxu happened to be the ninth emperor, and there was also an emperor in Youzhou, referring to Puyi's establishment of a pseudo-Manchukuo in the northeast with the support of the Japanese, thus, the prophecies of the high monks all came true, for a time many descendants of the imperial family were surprised, the original prophecy was really so accurate, of course, many things may be made up by posterity, maybe not real, but many things are so mysterious, Just as the prophecies in "Pushing back" often come true, people are shocked.
Maybe the way buddhists look at the world is from above and down, it is a kind of looking down, so they can see a lot of things clearly, or we see the world in different spaces, different dimensions, so the cognition is also different, and the Buddhists can always see the world so thoroughly, so round, it may be related to the angle from which they see the world.
In any case, the Qing Dynasty did perish, but the reason for the demise of the Qing Dynasty may not be the number of qi, but corruption, because only corruption can destroy a dynasty, only corruption can destroy a dynasty, and by the end of the Qing Dynasty, the degree of corruption has been difficult to change, the situation has been difficult to reverse, so the demise is certain, this point cannot be questioned.
