Kangxi Feng's only Gulun princess, her mother gave birth to six children, Yongzheng: let her wear a dragon robe and be buried

Kangxi had many children in his lifetime, but the survival rate was not high, and of the twenty daughters, only eight grew up. Of the eight daughters, only one was crowned Princess Gulun by Kangxi, she was Kangxi's favorite daughter, and Yongzheng also let this princess wear a dragon robe to be buried, she was Princess Gulun Rongxian.

1. Mothers who have six babies

Princess Gulun Rongxian's mother was the most favored concubine in the early Kangxi Dynasty, Rongfei, and it is necessary to say something about Rongfei's family lineage.

The Yongzheng Dynasty Notes records that "after the old Marsai Washun, the minister of the pillar of the state was also a relative of the mother party of Yun Zhi. "The YunZhi mother party in this record refers to the family of Princess Rongxian's mother, Princess Rongxian, or it is relatively clear, Rongfei is after the manchurian xun, whose ancestor's ancestral name is Hushi, and the clan led by the beginning of the country to submit to the imperial court was incorporated into the Manchurian Yellow Banner.

Later, the members of the Rongfei family not only held important positions in the court, but also made meritorious achievements on the battlefield, and Rongfei's cousin Zhang Tun and his brother Tu Leshen were both given the post of lieutenant of light vehicles for their military merits, and another was crowned a third-class male from his brother Luo Tuo Sanyu Enzhao.

There was also a big figure in the Rongfei family, his name was Tu Hai, he was Rongfei's cousin, who had served as a general in Fuyuan, quelled the rebellion of Wu Sangui, and was awarded the title of first-class duke for his merits and entered the Taimiao Temple.

When Concubine Rong entered the palace, the historical records do not record, but one thing is certain, she was the earliest favorite woman of Kangxi. From the sixth year of Kangxi to the sixteenth year of Kangxi, Concubine Rong gave birth to six children for Kangxi successively, and five of the first ten sons of Kangxi were from the hands of Concubine Rong, and the favor of Concubine Rong was evident.

Although Princess Rong was favored, the survival rate of her children was not high, and only the third daughter of the Emperor and the third son of the Emperor, Yin Zhi, survived, and this Third Daughter of the Emperor was Princess Rongxian of Gulun who was born in May of the twelfth year of the Kangxi Dynasty.

2. Married to the Princess of the Qing Dynasty of Mongolia

Before Princess Gulun Rongxian was born, Kangxi was more troubled, why? Because his first two daughters died one after another, even his sons died one after another, and when his son died, he could not hold other people's sons, but he still had to work hard to raise them, but when this daughter died, there was a way, and Kangxi could adopt someone else's daughter as an adopted daughter. Therefore, Kangxi took the eldest daughter of his younger brother Chang Ning into the palace and adopted her as an adopted daughter, this is the grand princess: Princess Gulun Chunxi.

However, what Kangxi did not expect was that soon after Princess Gulun Chunxi entered the palace, Princess Rong gave birth to the third daughter of the Emperor, who was called the second princess according to the order of teeth, and this second princess was Princess Gulun Rongxian.

That is to say, Princess Gulun Rongxian was actually the eldest daughter of Kangxi.

In fact, like Princess Gulun Rongxian, these Princesses of the Great Qing Dynasty, from the moment of birth, their fate has been predestined, nine times out of ten are pro-Mongolian, Rongxian is naturally no exception. Sure enough, when Rongxian was a child, her father Kangxi made a family affair for her, who was from the Mongolian Bahrain Ministry and was the son of Ozil, the king of Zasak Doro County, named Urgun.

How could this Urgun Hede marry Princess Rongxian? To be honest, it really can be, because he is related to the Qing dynasty royal family.

It turned out that Urgun was the grandson of Princess Gulun Shuhui, and who was Princess Gulun Shuhui? Princess Gulun Shuhui was the fifth daughter of Emperor Taiji, and her mother was the famous Xiaozhuang, who was the most beloved daughter of Xiaozhuang, so we can repeatedly check the relationship between Urgun and Princess Gulun Rongxian.

Princess Gulun Shuhui and The Shunzhi Emperor were siblings of the same mother, so Urgun's father Özil and Shunzhi's son Kangxi were cousins, so the relationship should be like this, the son of cousin Özil was going to marry the daughter of cousin Kangxi, and Urgun and Princess Rongxian were actually cousins.

In the 30th year of the Kangxi Dynasty, the 18-year-old Rongxian was crowned Princess Heshuo and subsequently married Urgun, a cousin of the Mongol Balin Ministry. At that time, the Great Qing Dynasty was at war with the Dzungars, and the marriage under rongxian was bound to unite the Bahrain Ministry and the Qing Imperial Family, after all, the Mongol cavalry of the Bahrain Ministry was also a force to be reckoned with.

3. Princess Gulun buried in a dragon robe

After marrying her cousin Urgun, Princess Rongxian would return to Kyoshi from time to time to visit her father. For example, in the forty-eighth year of Kangxi, Kangxi fell ill due to the incident of deposing the prince, and Princess Rongxian specially rushed back from the Ministry of Bahrain to take care of her father who was ill, and did not slack off day and night, which greatly touched Kangxi.

His son Yin Rong greatly disappointed himself, but he still had a good daughter, which made Kangxi feel a little more comforted, and after Kangxi recovered, he did not forget his daughter Rongxian's filial piety to himself, and ordered him to be promoted to princess of Gulun.

The ancestral system of the Qing Dynasty was fixed, only the daughter born to the empress could be named the Princess of Gulun, the daughter born of the concubine could only be named princess of Heshuo, and Rongxian's mother, Concubine Rong, was only a concubine, but she was named the Princess of Gulun, which showed Kangxi's love for this daughter.

It should be noted that Rongxian was the only Gulun princess who was personally crowned by Kangxi, and the other daughters of Kangxi who enjoyed the title of Gulun Princess were all promoted after Yongzheng succeeded to the throne.

In the sixty years of the Kangxi Dynasty, Urgun, who had accompanied the army, died in the army, and seven years later, on April 21 of the sixth year of Yongzheng, Princess Gulun Rongxian died at the age of 56.

After the death of Princess Gulun Rongxian, she was buried in the Right Banner of Balin in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, and the scale of the cemetery was magnificent.

More than 240 years later, that is, in 1972, the cemetery of Princess Gulun was excavated, and what was unexpected was that the princess's body was actually intact, as if she were a living person, and what was even more surprising was that Princess Rongxian was also wearing a glorious pearl tuan dragon robe, the princess died in the sixth year of Yongzheng, presumably she was buried in a dragon robe, which was also approved by Yongzheng.

On the south and east sides of Princess Rongxian's coffin are two urns, which contain the ashes of Urgun and the princess's son, Linbu. It can be seen that Princess Rongxian was buried according to the tradition of burial in the Central Plains, while the father and son of Ergun were cremated and buried according to the local Mongolian customs.

Zichen said:

We all know that Kangxi was an emperor who attached great importance to family affection, whether it was the opponents and feet, or to his children, he was very kind, even if he asked the eldest son of the emperor to kill the foot, Yin Zhen, and the crown prince Yin Rong, who was plotting to seize power, Kangxi only imprisoned them. And Yongzheng is different, in the face of his son Hongshi's rebellion, he actually hurt the killer, of course, the cause of Hongshi's death has yet to be examined, not necessarily Yongzheng executed, it may also be depressed.

It is worth mentioning that after the death of Princess Gulun Rongxian, her brother Prince Cheng, Yin Zhi, was imprisoned and killed by Yongzheng, fortunately, the princess did not see this scene. I have to say that the most ruthless imperial family, even if blood is thicker than water, in the face of power, it can not withstand a single test.
