1. The daughter of a chief who has experienced calamity
On February 22, the sixth year of the Ming Dynasty (1578), Nurhaci, who had just been married, had his first child, a daughter, and his birth mother was Nurhaci's original partner Tong Jia (Yuan Concubine), Nurhaci had just turned 20 years old, and his face was full of joy when he first became a father.
Soon, Nurhaci named the eldest daughter Wenzhe (Nenjie).
Since the death of their birth mother, Theitara clan, the stepmother sister treated their brother badly, and was forced to be helpless, the young Nurhaci and his brother Shulhachi left home, they relied on each other, together to go up the mountain to collect mushrooms, sell mountain goods, since meeting the noble man in life - Talmbayan, this person not only adopted himself, but also promised his daughter to himself, is his own savior, Nurhaci knows this.
When Wen Zhe was five years old, her great-grandfather Kyaw Chang-an and grandfather Tak Shi were killed, and her father Nurhaci relied on thirteen pairs of armor donated by his grandfather to start a journey to unify the Jurchen tribes.
At the beginning of the uprising, their father and daughter often faced the vendetta of their people. On one occasion, the Assassins surrounded their entire family, but fortunately Nurhaci was in a hurry and hid his daughter Wen zhe and his sons Chu Ying and Dai Shan under the cabinet, so that their sister and brother could escape the disaster.

2. Dongguo Gege, who married at the age of ten
In the sixteenth year of the Ming Dynasty (1588), Nurhaci married his ten-year-old daughter Wenzhe to He Heli, who was only two years younger than himself. This year, Nurhaci was 29 years old and He Heli was 27 years old, but an unpleasant thing happened at the wedding.
In fact, before that, He Heli had already married a wife and had children, her Fu Jin name was Zhuo'er, Zhuo'er had learned martial arts since childhood, which could be described as both literary and martial arts, and when he heard that her husband had married another wife, his own status was not guaranteed, so he did not say a word and led the people to kill Xiang Jianzhou. However, he still had to rely on strength, and under the persuasion of Nurhaci, Zhuo Er put an end to the banner and accepted the fact that his position of Concubine Fujin had been encroached upon.
The eldest daughter was married, but she encountered such an embarrassing thing, which made Nurhaci very unhappy, and later Nurhaci ordered that Zhuo'er's children should not be allowed to inherit He Heli's property, and gave her the notoriety of "Erhe Mother" (Diao Wife). Nurhaci's eldest daughter Wen zhe, on the other hand, replaced Zhuo'er as He Heli's concubine Fujin and had a new title: Dongguo Gege.
From the perspective of fertility, Nurhaci's eldest daughter Dongguo and her husband He Heli were quite affectionate, and the two gave birth to six sons successively, like the second son Duojili, the fourth son and Gu Tu, and the fifth son all made great achievements in the early years of the Qing Dynasty. What was even more gratifying to Dongguo was that her husband He Heli was indeed heroic and extraordinary, becoming a powerful warrior around his father, and was listed among the five ministers and the third rank of the chief military officer.
However, in the year when Dongguo was 46 years old, that is, in the ninth year of the Mandate of Heaven (1624), her husband He Heli left him, and two years later, his father Nurhaci also died, and subsequently, his half-brother Huang Taiji succeeded to the Khan's throne as Tiancong Khan. Dongguo Gege knows that her daughter's self has nothing to do with politics, and she is nearly fifty years old, so she only needs to protect her children and enjoy her old age in peace.
3. The first Gulun princess of the Qing Dynasty
In the year when Dongguo Gege was 58 years old, her younger brother Emperor Taiji proclaimed himself emperor in Shengjing and changed his name to Yuan Chongde, and the Great Qing Dynasty came into being.
Emperor Taiji stipulated that only the daughter born to the empress could be crowned Princess Gulun, the daughter born of the concubine could only be crowned princess Heshuo, and Dongguo's mother was The original tong jia of Nurhaci, although Tong Jiashi was not posthumously crowned empress, but she was after all the original match of Nurhaci, and her children actually had the status of concubine.
In October of that year, Dongguo was crowned as the Princess of Gulun by Emperor Taiji, so Dongguo became the first Princess gulun of the Qing Dynasty.
However, the story of the highest-ranking princess in the royal family is not over.
Although Dongguo lost her husband early and gave birth to six sons, her health has always been very healthy, and she lived until the ninth year of Shunzhi, when she was 75 years old, if it were not for nurhaci's seventh daughter who lived to the twenty-fourth year of Kangxi (at the age of 82), Dongguo would have been Nurhaci's longest-lived child.
After Kangxi succeeded to the throne, he seemed to have great respect for this aunt and grandmother, and ordered a monument to commemorate:

Moreover, Dongguo was also crowned as the Princess of Gulun by her younger brother Emperor Taiji, becoming the first Gulun Princess of the Qing Dynasty, and compared with the abandoned second sister Nen zhe (Nurhaci's second daughter), the executed third sister Mangguji (Nurhaci's third daughter), and the three widowed fourth sister Mukush, Dongguo Gege's life was much more complete.
