Together with Peng Dehuai, he led the Pingjiang Uprising, and as the commander of the Third Army of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, he made extraordinary achievements in the party's first three anti-"encirclement and suppression" struggles, and was even once known as one of the three generals in the Jinggangshan revolutionary base area. His prestige in the military can almost stand shoulder to shoulder with Peng Dehuai, and in addition, he is also Peng Dehuai's closest friend.
However, in 1931, an incident occurred, Huang Gongliu's brother Huang Meizhuang came to the army to look for Huang Gongluo, Peng Dehuai warmly entertained Huang Meizhuang, and sang with him about the wine, but after drinking heavily, to everyone's surprise, Huang Meizhuang was ordered to be executed.
Everyone was caught off guard, first of all, Peng Dehuai and Huang Gongluo were close friends, Huang Gongluo had a high prestige in the military, and everyone was worried about whether this would affect the friendship between the two and make the two people feel suspicious. Secondly, I can't understand why Peng Dehuai made this move, beheading people after drinking wine. What kind of hidden feelings are hidden in this past? It was his good fortune to know people with lofty ideals, and soon the two of them mingled together, and they were also admitted to the Hunan Army Lecture Hall together, and organized the so-called poverty relief meeting, which has been committed to saving the oppressed poor people.
After the friendship began in the military, it never stopped. Later, Huang Gongluo applied for the Whampoa Military Academy and was successfully admitted, the two briefly parted ways, at this time no one thought that in the future, the two parties would completely break up, and the friendship and faith of the two were faced with a choice.
After Chiang Kai-shek betrayed the revolution, Huang Gongluo was very disappointed in him and became an underground party despite the dangers. Just when he graduated, Peng Dehuai issued an invitation to him, hoping that he could come back as the vice principal of the camp school, and Huang Gongluo naturally went to the appointment. But he was also not sure whether the Peng Dehuai he knew was the same after many years. Therefore, at the discussion meeting of the camp school, he specifically pointed to the "downfall of the new warlord" in the program and asked Peng Dehuai:
"Who is this new warlord referring to?"
"Chiang Kai-shek!" Peng Dehuai instantly suspected that Huang Gongluo had changed his mind, and Huang Gongluo entered another inch at this time:

Later, the two directly established the Fifth Red Army and launched the "Pingjiang Uprising", which is not an exaggeration to say that they were friends for their lives.
Second, Peng Dehuai wisdom to fight Huang meizhuang
After the Pingjiang Uprising, Huang Gongluo also made a name for himself on the battlefield, and in the first two anti-encirclement and suppression struggles, Huang Gongluo led the Red Army to gallop on the battlefield, and the Kuomintang army was bitterly beaten. Chiang Kai-shek was so full of thunder to huang gongluo's name that he always wanted to "recruit him."
Chiang Kai-shek first set his sights on Huang Hanxiang, a distant relative of Huang Gongluo, who had once joined Wu Peifu's army, and after Wu Peifu's downfall, his career was lost. Chiang Kai-shek granted him the post of Envoy to Nanchang and asked him to recruit Huang Gongluo back to the Kuomintang.
Huang Hanxiang got the task and immediately found Huang Gongluo's eldest brother Huang Meizhuang, promising to give him a high-ranking official As long as Huang Gongluo could submit to the Kuomintang. As soon as Huang Meizhuang heard that he could become an official, he immediately rushed in the direction of Huang Gongluo. At this time, when Huang Gongluo went out to fight, Peng Dehuai was left in the headquarters.
Peng Dehuai had heard Huang Gongluo say that his eldest brother had been abusing Huang Gongluo since he was a child, and he was not a good person. And when he saw in the newspaper that Chiang Kai-shek had given Huang Hanxiang an official position, he suddenly had a bad premonition when he thought of Chiang Kai-shek's recent frequent "recruitment and security" policy.
Peng Dehuai first quietly left Huang Meizhuang behind, and took out the best liquor to entertain him, and also pretended not to drink, planning to get Huang Meizhuang drunk out of the real purpose of his trip. Peng Dehuai had other ideas, and Huang Meizhuang naturally had them. When he saw that Peng Dehuai couldn't drink, he also wanted to get Peng Dehuai drunk and put out some Communist Intelligence.
Peng Dehuai began to act at this time:

Huang Meizhuang was already seven points drunk, and when the words came to his mouth, he couldn't stop his mouth: "You were still military commanders in the past!" Peng Dehuai saw that the fish had been hooked, and then continued to coax Huang Meizhuang to drink two more cups, and Huang Meizhuang took out all the abduction books written by Chiang Kai-shek to Huang Gongluo, and fell asleep.
Third, the great righteousness destroys relatives and shows the heroic ability
As soon as Peng Dehuai saw the letter, he immediately called Mao Runzhi and wanted to ask Mao Runzhi how to deal with it. Mao Runzhi had always used people without doubt, so he instructed Peng Dehuai not to meddle in this matter and let Huang Gongluo make his own decision. He believed that Huang Gongluo could withstand the test, and he also understood that only those who rejected the high-ranking official Houlu could follow him farther and farther down the road of revolution.
As soon as Huang Gongluo heard the news, one head became two large. His family had defected to the Kuomintang, and he only felt extremely remorseful. Now his brother still carries the enemy's abduction book deep into the army and becomes the leader of the enemy, and now he, the flying general, has no face to see the soldiers in the army.
What caused Huang Gong a slight headache was that Chiang Kai-shek even put his wife and old mother under house arrest in order to force him to obey, and if this matter was not handled well, he was afraid that the two people he loved most in the family would die tragically at the hands of the enemy.
After some deliberation, Huang Gong decided to give up his small family to become everyone, and immediately sent a telegram to the Party Central Committee, telling the Party Central Committee his attitude: From now on, huang Meizhuang should be executed for this crime.
When Huang Gong slightly replied to Peng Dehuai's hand, Peng Dehuai only smiled slightly and did not react too much. He knew his good friend all too well, and knew that he was a man who would never make the slightest concession to the revolution, not even his family. He had long known that Huang Gongluo would handle it impartially, and informing the Party Central Committee of this matter was nothing more than a routine matter.
Then Peng Dehuai executed Huang Meizhuang, and did not forget to send the head of Huang Meizhuang to Chiang Kai-shek, and disgusted Chiang Kai-shek fiercely. In 1931, Huang Gongluo was shot and killed in the process of moving troops. When the news reached Peng Dehuai's side, Peng Dehuai fell into extreme pain, unable to sleep for several days and nights in a row, and only hated himself for not following Huang Gongluo's side. After the founding of New China, Peng Dehuai took Huang Gongluo's wife and daughter to Beijing to take care of them, and he could do something for his good brother.
