With the inheritance of the art of jinshi calligraphy and painting of Wu Men IV of the Haipai over the past century, the exhibition collects more than 80 paintings, calligraphy, seal carvings and related documents of Wu Changshuo and Wu's descendants, comprehensively showing the national temperament and spirit of the times contained in the Haipai calligraphy and painting and haipai culture, including the earliest Wu Changshuo calligraphy works found so far.

Poetry, calligraphy and painting are integrated into the four masterpieces of art

This exhibition exhibits 21 fine works of calligraphy and paintings and 13 pieces of seal engraving seals and yantais of Mr. Wu Changshuo, whose works span the artistic creation career of the master for more than 60 years, and at the same time exhibits more than 20 precious documents such as Mr. Wu Changshuo's personal letters, poems, ledgers, etc., comprehensively restoring the real life state and artistic concept of the master.

Taking the "Wind Bamboo Diagram" exhibited for the first time as an example, Mr. Wu Changshuo uses the brushwork of the golden wrong knife to write bamboo leaves in thick ink and paint bamboo branches in light ink, perfectly showing the rigidity, flexibility, toughness and upward posture of bamboo in his hometown. In the side oblique out of the bamboo branches and bamboo leaves, thousands of angles are born, with the blank space of the upper and lower two diagonals, the virtual reality is born, the yin and yang are harmonious, so that the composition of the painting reaches a dangerous situation.

Wu Dongmai, as the younger son of Mr. Wu Changshuo, inherits the appearance of his works from his father, the style is heavy and old, and the calligraphy seal carving is part-time, which obtains his father's golden stone qi and reveals grace in the golden stone sonorous. Wu Changye is the young grandson of Mr. Wu Changshuo, since childhood Chenghuan's knees, deeply favored by his grandfather, young Chengting training, good at writing flowers, not only the spirit of gold and stone does not fall, but also bold, pen and ink smooth. Especially after the reform and opening up, Wu Changye's works have become more enthusiastic and unrestrained, full of the atmosphere of the era of "thriving and thriving".

The exhibition also selects the calligraphy and painting works of Wu Youfei, Zheng Hanjian, Wu Chao and Wu Yue, descendants of the contemporary Wu men IV.
