In 1945, after the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan, Yin Xianbing was appointed commander of the Huxi Subdistrict of the Jiluyu Military Region, and immediately after the outbreak of the Liberation War, Yin Xianbing participated in the war many times, and by February 1949, Yin Xianbing was already the commander of the 16th Army of the 5th Corps of the Second Field Army, when Yin Xianbing was only 34 years old.
At that time, the political commissar of the 16th Army was Wang Huiqiu, and the chief of staff was Yang Junsheng, and when these three people were awarded the rank in 55 years, their ranks were lieutenant general and major general, but why was Yin Xianbing, the commander of the First Army, a colonel? In December 1952, yin Xianbing, commander of the 16th Army, led an army into the Korean War, which was the only composite army in the Chinese army at that time, and the generals used Soviet equipment, but also equipped with artillery regiments and tanks.

In 1983, Yin Xianbing was appointed as the deputy commander of the Beijing Military Region, but unfortunately, before he took office, Yin Xianbing's two comrades-in-arms Yang Yong and Xu Liqing died of illness on the same day, and Yin Xianbing, who was overly sad, also suffered from cerebral hemorrhage.
On February 10, 1983, Yin Xianbing died at the age of 68.
