The 2,000 inaugural issues sold out less than noon, and the 2,000 copies reprinted were all sold out at dusk, unprecedented in the history of Shanghai's newspaper distribution... This is the "Blood Daily", organized and edited by Qu Qiubai, and is the first daily newspaper founded by the Communist Party of China.

What kind of blood story is behind "Blood Daily"? Accompanied by the sound of exciting music, the drama "The Blood of Chinese" was staged in the auditorium on the fifth and fourth floors of the City's Third Girls' High School. As an incubation project of the Shanghai Literature, Film and Television Venture Capital Summit sponsored by the Literary Creation Center of the Shanghai Writers Association, the Municipal Writers Association joined hands with the Municipal Third Girls' Junior High School to continue the previous "Entering the Campus • Audio and Video Incubation Activity of Literary Works", with the theme of the integrated course of "Xiuchuang Theater", and realized the dual harvest of literary incubation and red theme education through the cultural understanding and inheritance of the Red Revolution through the form of stage plays.

A few years ago, the Shanghai Writers Association launched a major creative project "Red Footprint", in which writers tell the story of Shanghai Red, which is collected into "The Secret of Shikumenli". The drama "The Blood of the Chinese" is adapted from the short story "Blood Daily".

The work tells the story of the Revolutionary Thought of the Communists, under the leadership of Qu Qiubai, who created and published the first daily newspaper of the Communist Party of China, "Blood Daily", in order to restore the social truth and awaken the revolutionary ideas of the masses after the May 30 Massacre in May 1925. After the publication of "Hot Blood Daily", the editors used the five single words of "hot", "blood", "boiling", "Teng", "Teng" as pen names, and wrote 23 commentaries, such as "Chinese Don't Be Outsiders' Minions", exposing the ugly face and criminal acts of attacking imperialism, reactionary warlords, and the comprador bourgeoisie, and playing a huge role in exposing imperialist atrocities and supporting the revolutionary struggle. In just 24 periods, the Communists have endured hardships, and although the time is short, they have left a strong mark in the long river of China's revolutionary struggle.

The children of the Municipal No. 3 Girls' Junior High School and the teachers of the Writers Association selected this story for drama rehearsal. The students were touched by the feats of their revolutionary ancestors and rehearsed enthusiastically. The performance team composed of students in the sixth, seventh and eighth grades lasted for a semester of rehearsals, and the performance team composed of all girls on the scene was mostly anti-string roles, and the passionate and generous lines made the audience excited and moved.

Some students said that the process of rehearsing a drama is actually a process of receiving red education, and during the rehearsal, they deeply felt that today's happy life was exchanged for the blood of revolutionary ancestors, and should be cherished and studied well.
