They did not complain, did not flinch, but rejoiced, seemed to be bathed in nectar, feeling joy.
On the way, the tractor was overturned by a car dodging the truck, and fell under the slope of the roadside, and the axle of the tractor was broken and could not be repaired.
They did not argue or complain with the driver who caused the accident, did not ask for any compensation, accepted the owner of the car saying that there was a patient in the car who was in a hurry, and kindly reminded the owner to pay attention to safety and rush to Lhasa as soon as possible.
They dropped the damaged front of the car, and several men dragged the carriage with all the supplies forward... Stop it...... Walk back to the starting point marked by the stone, pick up your own handboard and bump into the carriage, make up for the long head, turn back repeatedly, and continue the pilgrimage.
By the time we reached the Mira Pass, 5,000 meters above sea level, the men had exhausted their strength, women and old men were helping to push the cart, and everyone sang together, and their footsteps were light and determined to turn over one mountain after another.
"Some characters" – ants, donkeys, old men
Ant: When the village butcher crossed the muddy mountain road, he suddenly stopped lying on the ground for a long time, because he wanted to let an ant in front of him pass first. He felt that he had killed a lot of cattle and had a deep karmic obstacle, so he quit drinking and joined the pilgrimage. This ant is no different from an ox and a man, simply respect for life.
Donkey: Met a pilgrimage couple pulling a cart with a donkey, they invited the couple to eat something, asked why not use a donkey to pull the carriage, the husband who prostrated his head said that he was reluctant, he saw the donkey as his family, only when he could not pull uphill, he used a donkey.
Old man: On the way, I met a local old man, saying that some of them prostrated their heads and walked too many steps, the posture was not correct, they could not tie a red turban, and the prostrations did not touch the ground, and so on, and they humbly accepted. That night, the old man enthusiastically offered food and wine, and sent a pilgrimage coat, the next day they ploughed the land for the old man, the old man in the camera lamented that the young man ploughed the land "too fast and too fast"...
Landlady: After they arrived in Dalassa, they decided to stay and work to earn money. The landlady was not in good health, could not go to the sacred mountain pilgrimage, said you can prostrate ten thousand long heads for me, the money for the hotel will be saved, so they go to the construction site during the day to work, give people a car wash, go to the Jokhang Temple at night to give the landlady a hundred thousand long heads, when leaving, the landlady kindly asked, have you got all your wages? They replied sheepishly, got it, and continued on their way.
"A lifetime" – Tynzi Dengda
On the way, the pregnant mother gave birth to a child, and a few days later she prostrated with her companions, without conditioning the body, without confinement, the big thing in our eyes, for the pilgrimage is a floating cloud, if the child cries, she climbs into the cargo box of the tractor to feed. The baby's name is Dingzi Dengda.
Ding zi dengda means happiness and longevity, and the birth of a baby symbolizes the ideal of faith and the hope of life
"One death" - Yang Pei
Death, for worldly people, is an unhappiness and sorrow that cannot be endured and faced in life, but it is impossible to escape.
However, the elder Yang Pei arrived in Kailash and passed away in a sleeping night.
For the devout believers, the death of the leader Yang Pei at the foot of the sacred mountain is fortunate, a blessing and luck, his karma has been connected with the holy mountain, there is no weeping, no mourning, natural calm, no excessive mourning and sorrow, but blessing and prayer, is a kind of respect and worship of nature and faith.
There are many people who can't resist the high altitude and bad weather, turning around and dying, life and death are a normal way on the pilgrimage road, la ma is overdone for him, the eagle chants for him, the blue sky and white clouds of the sacred mountain have become his new home, a mani stone pile, some soot farewell.
Prostrating his head forward, eating and sleeping in the wind, he even took his own life, just to go to the sacred mountain to worship, the front of the car pulling the cargo box was hit and broke the axle on the way, the baby was born halfway, and Yang Pei died in Kailash... Faith and survival are both life and practice.
After the turn of the mountain, a white expanse of snow became a canvas, and they were dotted and continued to crawl forward...
Accept the ordinary self, but do not give up the ideals and beliefs, love life, we are all on the road.
