Recently, Master Horn learned from overseas related channels that Citroën's new C5 Aircross SUV ushered in a mid-term redesign update, which focused on the front face headlight area, interior and in-car machine system. New models will be launched in China or in parallel with Europe.
In Europe, Citroën discontinued the C5 brand in 2017, followed by the launch of a new SUV model in 2018, which is the C5 Aircross, and the corresponding model in China is the Tianyi C5 Aircross. Since the debut of the C5 Aircross, Citroën has expanded the members of the C5 family, and the new C5 X crossover has been officially launched.
The C5 Aircross update, the front face changes are more obvious, especially the split headlights in the old model have been integrated in this update, the original independent daytime light part, this time with the Citroën logo extended line fusion, while the front face added LED light strip and luminous car logo.
Another change in the front face is the redesigned bumper, the bottom air intake area is larger, the sides are designed with cooling trough decoration, the new shape gives people a widened body optical illusion, while effectively promoting the guidance of the front airflow.
In the rear part of the car, the size of the tail light has not changed much, but the structure style of the internal LED light group assembly has changed, and the original four rings are gone, and they are replaced by misplaced geometry. New 18-inch wheels were introduced on the side of the body, and the exterior mirrors and roof rack were decorated with black paint.
The interior part, the new C5 Aircross designer redesigned the interior, the center console no longer uses the left and right symmetrical style, the central control screen becomes a floating style, and the air outlet is designed below the central control screen, mainly because the design adjustment made after the size of the central control screen is increased to 10 inches. In addition, the engine system has also been upgraded to use the same system as the C5 X. Not only that, but the seats have also been upgraded with an additional 15mm foam added to the padding to improve ride comfort. The high-end model will also feature Alcantara flared and perforated leather mix-and-match seats.
