A few days ago, Volkswagen Kanche obtained a set of official pictures of the new Citroën C5 Aircross model from foreign media, and the new car mainly upgraded the exterior interior and will be the first to be listed in Europe this summer.
In terms of appearance, the most important change occurred in the front of the car, the C5 Aircross no longer has split headlights, but adopts a one-piece headlight group, LED daytime running lights are connected to the external luminous light strip. Other changes to the front include a redesigned bumper, thanks to a larger lower air intake, and the interior incorporates a line outline that gives the vehicle a wider feel.
At the same time, the vertical vents on the sides replace the square trims of the C5 Aircross before the remodel and achieve better aerodynamics by improving airflow. The rear of the car adopts a newly designed taillight, and the bilateral double exhaust layout makes the rear feel sporty.
In terms of interior, Citroën's latest interior design language is also adopted, and the center console has been redesigned to accommodate the individual display of the infotainment system. The sides of the touchscreen are no longer air-conditioned vents to make room for a 10-inch suspended central control screen and enhance the sense of technology in the car. In addition, the new car is equipped with an air-conditioned touch control area, which greatly reduces the use of physical buttons.
In terms of power, the new C5 AIRCROSS still offers gasoline, diesel and plug-in hybrid powertrains. Among them, the plug-in hybrid model is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.6T engine and an electric motor, the system has a combined maximum power of 225 horsepower, a battery capacity of 13.2kWh, and a comprehensive cruising range of 55 kilometers in pure electric mode.
With the listing of foreign revamps, new cars are expected to soon come to the domestic market, according to previous sources, the domestic will be officially put into production in October 2022.
