This was an assassination without a specific goal, an extremely selfish and violent act.
He did not have any personal grudge with Huang Zuyan, nor did he necessarily have to get rid of this person and usurp power.
In other words, if there was someone else sitting in Huang Zuyan's position that night, there would be a wrongful death of others.
It was only his extremely narrow basic position and chaotic and distorted notions that led to this tragedy.
The Chairman learned of the approval three times in a month!
Chairman Mao soon learned the news of Huang Zuyan's murder, and after being shocked, he immediately drew up a circular and sent it to various places. In his briefing, the Chairman mainly stated that it is necessary to strictly guard against counter-revolutionary retaliation and not to pay attention to suspicious elements if we do not think that there is nothing wrong. The lesson of Huang Zuyan's murder was bloody, and on March 14, the day after the assassination, the Shandong Branch of the Communist Party of China issued a seven-point opinion to its subordinate units on strengthening the protection work of organs and chiefs. On March 20, chairman Mao read the seven opinions of the Shandong sub-bureau and issued instructions saying that he would continue to attach great importance to them.
