Founding Major Generals Li Zhen and Li Zhen, both of whom were from the old Red Army, had the same surname and the same pronunciation of the name. What is particularly surprising is that the experiences of the two generals are also quite similar, both joined the revolutionary work when they were young, and later became the Red Army, working together in the Red Sixth Army, they were excellent representatives of the Second Front, they fought together in Korea, and they were also awarded the Korean Order of Freedom and Independence of the Second Class.
Li Zhen and Li Zhen, two generals, went through the Long March of the Red Army, climbed snowy mountains and meadows, chased away the Japanese, fought against "old Chiang", defended their homeland and crossed the Yalu River, turned to the north and south, and fought for decades.

Li Zhen, born in 1908 in Xiaobanqiao Township, Yonghe Town, Liuyang County, Hunan Province, she was the sixth daughter in the family, she was given to others as a child bride at a very young age, and suffered a lot of human suffering, at this time, the flames of revolution burned to her hometown, and with the help of her Women's Liberation Association, she embarked on the revolutionary road, she joined the Liudong guerrillas, participated in the autumn harvest uprising on the border of Xianggan and Gansu, and the anti-"encirclement and suppression" struggle in the Xianggan and Xiang'echuanqian base areas.
During the Red Army period, Li Zhen successively served as the political commissar of the Red Army Women's League in the Xianggan Border Region, the political commissar of the Medical School of the Xianggan Military Region, and the deputy secretary of the Anfu County CPC Committee.
During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Li Zhen first studied in Jizhong and then returned to the Kang Da to study, serving as the principal of the Eighth Route Army Women's School. Later, he successively served as the chief of the organization section of the 120th Division's teaching regiment, the director of the political office directly under the division, and the chief of the organization section of the organization department of the political department of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia-Jinsui United Defense Army.
During the Liberation War, he served as secretary general of the Political Department of the Jinsui Military Region and director of the Political Department directly under the Political Department of the Northwest Field Army. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he entered the DPRK and participated in the war, and after returning to China, he served as the director of the Cadre Department of the Political Department of the Air Defense Force, the deputy chief procurator of the Military Procuratorate, and the adviser to the Organization Department of the General Political Department of the People's Liberation Army.
After years of bloody battles on the battlefield for many years, Li Zhen experienced various periods of the Red Army, the Eighth Route Army, and the People's Liberation Army, and embarked on a difficult and dangerous road of life, but it will eventually go to glory. In 1951, Lee Jeong participated in the Korean War as secretary general of the Political Department of the Volunteer Army, becoming a female representative of the Korean War. In 1955, she was awarded the rank of major general, and was awarded the Order of August 1 of the Second Class, the Order of Independence and Freedom of the Second Class, and the Liberation Medal of the First Class, becoming the first female general in New China, and Li Zhen also held many important positions after that.
Li Zhen, born in 1918 in Huangmenfang Village, Lianzhou Township, Yongxin, Jiangxi, when he was a child, because his family was poor, he was very young and worked as a cattle herder, when he was 13 years old, his hometown came to the Red Army, he resolutely participated in revolutionary work, became the leader of the children's league and the secretary of the township league committee. When the Red Army was fighting, he took the children's regiment to rescue the wounded and bury the remains of martyrs.
In February 1932, when he was only 14 years old, he insisted on joining the Red Army, and as a result, he became a Red Army and was placed in a rear hospital as a nurse. Once, the hospital was attacked by the enemy, he was scattered, a man looking for troops, almost caught by the enemy soldiers. A fellow villager advised him: "You are so young, you should hurry home." Li Zhen resolutely refused, and after a week of arduous searching, he finally returned to the Red Army units.
Soon after, the Red Army began the Long March, Li Zhen was still assigned to the health team, although he did not directly participate in many wars, but in the hospital for a long time as a caretaker, he actually had no teacher, became a doctor, can operate for the wounded on the front line, take bullets. Once, He Bingyan was injured, and it was he who performed surgery and removed a bullet that hit the flesh, thus making a name for himself.
After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, Li Zhen served as an attending military doctor in the 717th Regiment of the Eighth Route Army, and later became the minister of health of the brigade, and in 1940 he was transferred to the Sixth Military Sub-district of Jizhong as the minister of health. During the Liberation War, Li Zhen was transferred to the 3rd Column and 9th Brigade of the Jin-Cha-Ji Military Region as the director of the political department, from which he really left the health department, where he worked for 14 years. The following year, after the Battle of Pingjin, he was appointed as the political commissar of the division and later promoted to the political commissar of the army. In 1955, Li Zhen was promoted from a hospital nurse to a general and was awarded the rank of major general.
Li Zhen was not only a general, he had great achievements in the art of calligraphy, and often wrote poetry, known as the "General Poet", on March 11, 1990, General Li Zhen died of illness in Beijing; bad news came, General Li Zhen wrote a poem "Mourning Comrade-in-Arms Li Zhen":
Comrade-in-arms Li Zhen died suddenly. Whining is gone, destroying the liver and intestines.
Knowing the appearance of the king, as early as Ganxiang. The teenager cut his braids and ran to the battlefield.
Not afraid of danger, dare to fight knives and guns. Experienced in hundreds of battles, heroic posture.
Outstanding achievements, hundreds of generations of fang. The Scythians are gone today, and the sorrows and tears are in the line.
