Li Zhen's family is very poor, the family's grain throughout the year rely on two acres of thin fields to barely maintain, for many years they live in a few grass houses, rainy days inevitably leak rain, when the wind blows, there will always be a gust of cold. In such a difficult environment, Li Zhen grew up suffering, but this also made her more tenacious by the wind and frost.
More unfortunately, Li Zhen's father died of illness when she was still young, leaving her and several sisters and her mother with a difficult life. When Li Zhen was 6 years old, because her family was too poor to open the pot, at an ignorant age, she was painfully given by her mother to a family with an "ancient" surname as a child bridesmaid.
The fate of the child bride is often very tragic, she has to learn to do all kinds of housework with her young hands every day in the ancient family, and is often scolded, perhaps she did not secretly wipe her tears, but she could not make a choice, only to endure all this silently. In a cruel life, she lived for 9 years, when she was 15 years old, had some ability to resist, and tried to escape with several other child daughters-in-law girls.

After joining the party, she had the courage to struggle against the enemy, actively participated in the revolutionary movement, collected food for the Northern Expeditionary Army, fell ill on the road of the Long March, served as the director of the Provincial Women's Committee of the Xianggan Soviet Region, the political commissar of the military region's volunteer school, and other important positions, and paid a lot of sweat and painstaking efforts for the party's revolutionary cause.
Emotionally, because she participated in the revolution, the Gu family was afraid of being involved by her, so they dissolved their relationship with her, which was also in line with her wishes.
And her second marriage partner is named Zhang Qilong, the two once had an unforgettable marriage, the two for the motherland and the people, worked side by side, made a lot of sacrifices. The excellent Zhang Qilong served as the secretary of the Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee and made a bloody dedication to the local area. Unfortunately, Zhang Qilong was later arrested, and in order not to bother her, he dissolved the husband and wife relationship with her.

The real companion who accompanied Li Zhen for the rest of his life was Gan Siqi, the two met and fell in love on the road of revolution, and their feelings have always been very harmonious after they were married. Gan Siqi made great contributions to the motherland, and when he was awarded the rank in 1955, he received the rank of general.
It is lamentable that General Gan Siqi died young, leaving behind more than 20 martyrs' orphans who had been adopted together and living with Li Zhen. The two had a child, but because of the difficult conditions, the child unfortunately died.
Li Zhen's life was full of emotional twists and turns, her fate was bumpy, she was ignorant of the childhood, she struggled in the wind and waves, after participating in the revolution gradually grew into a bold, heroic resistance to the enemy heroine, is the only female general in New China, won the rank of major general.
As a woman, Li Zhen was able to run for the motherland with a tenacious and selfless mind in a life of war and twists and turns, and created wonderful achievements, the hardships of which can be imagined. But in her later years, she resolutely did not want to return the party's rewards, and has been living in the dilapidated courtyard at the foot of Xiangshan Mountain, living a low-key and simple life.
