Inaugural issue of Junzheng Bao (1946)

Founded on August 15, 1946, sponsored by the Political Department of the Shandong Military Region of the New Fourth Army, with the Direct subordinate units, directly subordinate divisions, and directly subordinate garrison brigades of the New Fourth Army as the main distribution scope, it is a party newspaper directly under the New Fourth Army and a corps directly under the New Fourth Army, with Wan Liyun as its president. From February 14, 1947, it was changed to a three-day periodical, and four editions were added every two issues.

In August 1946, in order to adapt to the changes in the situation at that time, exchange work experience of the whole army, and improve the ability to learn from business, the Political Department of the Shandong Military Region of the New Fourth Army decided to merge the "Militia Newspaper" with the "Military and Political Weekly" and publish the "Military and Political Semi-Monthly" and "Military and Political Newspaper" in a unified manner. Among them, the "Military and Political Daily" mainly targets cadres and soldiers below the company of the military and coastal military sub-districts, and also serves as a reference for other strategic areas and troops, and its task is to "(A) convey and specifically guide the work tasks of the military and coastal military sub-districts in each period, carry out ideological mobilization, and introduce work methods."
