People's Daily Wuhan, January 6 - On January 5, Wuhan Economic Development Zone signed an investment agreement with Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd., dongfeng Honda new energy plant project settled in China Chegu, and Wuhan built a trillion-level automobile industry cluster to add new momentum.

Dongfeng Honda New Energy Plant is Honda's first new energy benchmark factory in the world, which will provide strong support for Dongfeng Honda's transformation to electrification. Dongfeng Honda new energy plant project total investment of about 10 billion yuan, planned production capacity of 256,000 units, after completion will have a complete process of electric vehicle production, and will be in the welding, assembly and other processes, the introduction of the latest automation technology, the goal of building an industry-leading digital factory.

The new plant will also be a green factory that will leverage renewable energy sources such as solar power to help achieve carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. In addition, the new plant will use measures such as water recycling to conserve resources, minimize the emission of air pollutants, and actively promote sustainable development.
