Dongfeng Honda Motor Co., Ltd
Recalled some ELYSION vehicles
Effective April 2, Dongfeng Honda Motor Co., Ltd. recalled a total of 6,493 ELYSION vehicles produced between October 12, 2021 and February 26, 2022.
Due to the insufficient verification of the riveting manufacturing process, the tailgate brace bracket and the ball head riveting of the vehicle within the scope of this recall may break, resulting in the tailgate cannot be kept open, and the tailgate may collide with the user when it falls, which is a safety hazard. Dongfeng Honda Motor Co., Ltd. will replace the improved tailgate strut support assembly free of charge for vehicles within the scope of the recall.
The company will notify the relevant users of the recall through registered mail and other forms. Dongfeng Honda special store will take the initiative to contact the user and make an appointment to arrange vehicle recall and maintenance.
Hyundai Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd
Recalls some imported Kia Sorento cars
From April 20, Hyundai Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. recalled some imported Kia Sorento 2.0L diesel and 2.2L diesel vehicles produced from November 12, 2014 to July 5, 2018, for a total of 8,008 vehicles.
Due to control logic problems in the vehicles within the scope of this recall, the working temperature of the PTC heater (air conditioning auxiliary electric heater) may be excessively increased, resulting in damage to the PTC connector and the rupture of the wiring harness, and if it is serious, it may cause a fire in the PTC heater, which is a safety hazard.
Hyundai Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will inspect the vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge, and upgrade the PTC heater working logic if the PTC connector and wiring harness are not damaged; if the PTC connector insulation layer and wiring harness are damaged, replace the PTC heater and upgrade the PTC heater working logic.
Honda Giken Industries (China) Investment Co., Ltd
Recall some imported CB1100 motorcycles
With immediate effect, Honda Giken Industries (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will recall a total of 38 imported 2022 Honda CB1100 motorcycles produced on August 26, 2021.
Due to the use of the wrong model of vehicle horn in the production of the vehicles within the scope of this recall, some of the performance of the durability of the horn does not meet the requirements of the current national mandatory standards for motor vehicle horns, and there are potential safety hazards.
Honda Giken Industries (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will replace the horn and horn installation parts that comply with the current national standards for vehicles covered by the recall free of charge.
