Over time, Kong Qingsan's parents were also bent over by the landlord, who told them to do whatever they wanted, and did not dare to have the slightest idea of resisting.
The landlord told them to hand over most of the grain they had grown, and their parents had to do the same. The remaining small and a half grain is used as a family's chewing for a year, so every year the family can only save money and use it frugally, never daring to expect to eat enough, and it is already good to have to eat.
Kong Qingsan grew up in this environment, he once saw a villager who could not stand the oppression of the landlord, rose up to resist, and as a result, he was beaten by the landlord's men to vomit blood and died, and finally the villager's belongings were robbed by the landlord, and the villager's family was also driven out of the village, whether they were dead or alive.
At that time, Kong Qingsan was very angry when he saw this kind of villager being beaten, and he wanted to step forward, but his father pulled him aside, shook his head at him, and pulled him home. After returning home, Kong Qingsan forcefully threw away his father's hand, glared at his father angrily, and condemned his father's inaction with his eyes.

In the past, Kong Qingsan's parents were able to leave a small amount of grain for their families to eat. He wanted to go directly to the place where the traitor lived and avenge his father, but no, if something happened to him, his mother and young siblings would have no one to take care of him, and he would have to live, at least until his younger siblings grew up. Kong Qingsan secretly swore in his heart, "I will definitely avenge my father!" Damn traitors, damn Japanese, you wait for that day! ”
During that period of oppression, Kong Qingsan thought of the Communist Party. He had heard the word Communist Party from other villagers chatting, saying that the Communist Party was an organization, an organization that could help them get out of the sea of suffering. When watching those Japanese troops who had been raging in their hometown flee China like dogs that had lost their families, Kong Qingsan felt some happiness in his heart. Although he could not avenge his father and the communists who sacrificed themselves, as long as the Japanese army left, the traitors were punished, so he was satisfied.
Second, compulsory conscription, humiliated

Until one time, kong Qingsan had been placed in a certain artillery battalion of the Kuomintang. Because of his strong technique of manipulating artillery, he was often taken out of the mission by the company commander. No, the company commander took him on another mission, this time with artillery to clear the obstacles around Wei (wéi) county.
This task made Kong Qingsan a little confused, Weixian he had only been in Weixian not long ago, the trees and other obstacles within a few kilometers around had long been cut down, what other obstacles? Because he had been in Weixian County, Kong Qingsan knew how kind the people inside were, and he couldn't help but aim the guns at them, he wanted to ask the company commander to cancel this mission, but how could the company commander listen to his request as a small person? Therefore, when firing, he chose to hit the shell in the field.
His small movements were discovered by the company commander, who ordered him to take him back and beat him to the point of being covered in blood. Kong Qingsan finally couldn't stand the brutality of the Kuomintang and wanted to escape. When he was released back to camp that night, he took his gun and prepared to flee.
