QingWei | Nine Women Build a Tomb and a Cave Hanging Coffin (Li Xingjia)

Nine women build a tomb, and a cave hangs a coffin. One underground, one in the hole.

Although the tomb of the Nine Daughters is in the place where it was cultivated, it has not disappeared after hundreds of years; although the hanging coffin in the cave is inaccessible, it has long disappeared, somehow?

This stems from a legendary tale related to the site of a cultural relic, the "Nine Women's Tomb".

During the white dew season, the autumn harvest is busy. In the fields, farmers are harvesting peanuts, corn, rice and other crops. In a peanut field in the east of Wang kan village in Guanzhuang Town, Zoucheng City, there is a large tomb about two meters high and nearly ten meters in diameter, which is the site of "Wang Kan Nine Women Building Tomb".

In the distance, a tall mound of earth stood very conspicuous, surrounded by green weeds and green trees, and it was impossible to see its original face, like a young girl veiled. With a beautiful legend telling, the tomb also unveils its mystery.

Legend has it that during the Ming Dynasty, there was a landlord in the village, a family with great wealth, and a husband and wife. However, "happy families are all similar, and unhappy families have their own misfortunes", just as the so-called family has a difficult scripture. The couple has always had a heart disease, that is, the wife has given birth to nine daughters in succession, and has never had a son. The couple was very depressed. In that era of son preference, there was no son, that is, there was no successor, the incense was broken, and it was despised. The landlord's family is also a rich family, and they are more eager to have sons to pass on. The couple only looked forward to nine girls every year, believing that this was a punishment from heaven, and they were depressed all the time, and soon they died.

Before they died, the nine daughters took good care of them; after their deaths, the nine daughters were very sad and wanted to give their parents a funeral, but according to the customs and etiquette of the time, they could not perform filial piety like men. After the nine daughters discussed, they decided to bury their parents in the most solemn ceremony. He dug up the soil with his hands and pocketed the soil with his clothes, and built a large tomb to bury his parents together. The nine daughters are challenging the world with their practical actions. Although they could not continue the incense for the family like the boys, they touched the people with their filial piety. This tomb has not been destroyed after hundreds of years of baptism, even the war and turmoil, which cannot but be said to be a miracle.

In the early 1980s, the site of the "Tomb of the Nine Daughters of Wang Kan" was stolen twice, which can be described as a bad fate. The farmland of the villager Wu Fuquan is near the grave. One day, he saw fresh dirt in his own field, and looking down at the dirt, he found that a pit more than a meter deep had been dug on the edge of the cemetery. The old man speculated that the tomb robber might have been disturbed and fled in a hurry for fear of revealing the matter, but this time the tomb robber did not succeed. However, after a year, the tomb robbers came again. This time, they dug a 3-meter-deep pit just below the cemetery. According to the old man's recollection, after the second theft of the cemetery, he went to the scene to inspect and found that a long lamp and a crock pot were left in the pit, and other antiquities were stolen. As for the large pit dug by the tomb robbers, it has been gradually buried by the collapsed mud after a long time of rain and wind. Now the grass and trees on the tomb of the Nine Daughters are no longer visible.

In order to strengthen the protection of cultural relics, the local government listed the site of "Wang KanJiu Nuns Building Tomb" as a county-level and municipal-level cultural relics protection unit in 1978 and 2016 respectively.

Another legend related to it is thought-provoking and thought-provoking.

Legend has it that there is also a landlord near Yishan Mountain, a few miles away from Wangguan Village, who is also a family fortune, but the difference is that this family has only one son. The landlord naturally loved him very much, and from a young age, even if it was a non-sub-requirement of "collecting the moon and fishing for the stars", the landlord also relied on him. There is a way to spoil no filial piety, the landlord's son has not been filial piety since childhood, never listened to his parents, the landlord said that he was biased to the east, the landlord let him study, he was idle all day, did not learn no technique. After all, the landlord only had such a son, and he thought that the great cause of the family was not something that could be squandered in a lifetime, so he went with him.

When the landlord was old and dying, the son came to the bed and asked, "Father, where do you want me to bury you?" ”

The landlord thought to himself, this perverse son will not listen to me all his life, and I will say that I will be buried in the ground and buried in the ground for safety, and he will certainly not do as I say. As soon as the landlord had a stroke of genius, he said to his son, "Son, after I die, you don't want to bury me, just hang me in a cave in the Huangshan Mountain behind the village."

The landlord thought that his son must be coming backwards again, and he would definitely let himself be buried in the ground, so he smiled at the Nine Springs. But he miscalculated this time. After the landlord died, the son really buried the body in a coffin and hung it in the Yellow Mountain Cave. Later, the landlord's family business was also destroyed.

The tragic experience of the landlord has also become a laughing stock, and people say that this filial son, who has only listened to his father's words all his life, is to hang up his father's bones.

This is really: the nine daughters built a tomb to pass on filial piety, which still exists after a hundred years; the coffin in the cave admonishes the descendants, and there are children who do not filial piety and hate.

Although their names have been forgotten for a long time, the six-foot-high tomb they built with their delicate hands and hot filial piety has been preserved for hundreds of years and will always exist on the land of Wang Kan village, and their filial piety has been passed down from generation to generation, educating future generations and warming people's hearts. The hanging coffin in the cave has long been gone, but the tragic experience of the owner in the cave is also a sign of future generations. As for the heavens and the earth, how many stories and legends will occur similar to the nine women building tombs and cave coffins? Then no one knows.
