Hu Zongnan was eliminated in the oral examination because of his short stature, or Liao Zhongkai allowed him to take the examination, which was admitted to the Whampoa Military Academy and became the first student of Huangpu, and later he also claimed to be "the first person to be a protégé of Tianzi".
Speaking of Hu Zongnan, his relationship with Dai Kasa is also excellent, and Dai Kasa has also helped Hu Zongnan's development a lot. But when it comes to Hu Zongnan, he can be said to be the best at playing with power. Hu Zongnan always wanted to realize his ambition, that is, to inherit Chiang Kai-shek's position, so he secretly organized an organization with himself as the core called the "Iron Blood National Salvation League". This organization brings together senior officers from the military and government officials. He also recruited a group of people to serve him as his counselors and counselors.
Hu Zongnan is sometimes particularly peculiar in the use of people. For example, there was a man named Xu Bao under his command, but Xu Bao was a gambler, and once again he received the salary of the whole regiment and then took it to gamble, but he did not expect to lose a fine light. The quartermaster general came to him for pay, and he gathered all the regimental soldiers. He told the generals that the regimental commander had lost all his pay, and that he would be able to win back tonight and pay double the pay tomorrow. In this instant, the soldiers all went back happily. After Hu Zongnan criticized him, he paid him back, which made Xu Bao very grateful, and in the future, Xu Bao also gave Hu Zongnan more life.
I believe everyone knows that within the Kuomintang, there are also many factions, and they are also fighting with each other, and when they encounter opportunities, they will tear each other down, and Hu Zongnan and Bai Chongxi have also been fighting openly and secretly. In 1940, during the War of Resistance Against Japan, when Hu Zongnan was sitting in the Great Northwest, he began to recruit troops. He also hosted the seventh branch of the Central Military Academy to begin recruiting cadets, and Bai Chongxi was the minister of military training at this time, and he also had power over the jurisdiction of the military academy. Bai Chongxi suddenly brought a group of examiners to Xi'an to evaluate the students recruited by the seven branches.
Hu Zongnan was in a hurry for a while, and on the one hand, he personally went out on the horse to wash the dust for Bai Chongxi, and on the other hand, he sent people to organize personnel overnight, impersonated, and toured the examination. Bai Chongxi played a flower gun and stipulated that all trainees should be admitted to the examination for the photo, which disrupted Hu Zongnan's deployment. Hu Zongnan did not expect this move, those students who were temporarily pulled in on the playground made a big appearance, one did not understand the password, the second did not understand the footwork, the third did not understand the marksmanship, and the jokes were full of jokes. This also allowed Bai Chongxi to laugh at Hu Zongnan in front of everyone, saying that these practitioners were really a mess and put Hu Zongnan together.
Later, after the defeat of the Kuomintang, Hu Zongnan followed Chiang Kai-shek to Taiwan, where he did not have a good life, and he thought that he could spend the rest of his life in peace, but he was impeached and embarrassed. On February 14, 1962, Hu Zongnan died of illness at the age of 67.
