On the afternoon of May 16, Wei Zhaohui, Secretary General of the Secretariat of the China-ASEAN Expo, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Guangxi International Expo Bureau, led the working group to visit Cui Lin, Secretary General of the China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association, and Zhang Xinmin, Vice President of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles.
During the discussion with the China Food and Packaging Machinery Association, the two sides had in-depth exchanges on the exhibition and event preparations for the Expo, especially the food processing and packaging equipment exhibition area, and agreed to further deepen cooperation, make good use of the platform of the Expo, serve food packaging machinery enterprises to explore the ASEAN market, and help the digital transformation of the industry to accelerate the formation of new quality productivity. In addition, the organization of relevant enterprises to participate in the Malaysia-China Summit and its supporting exhibitions to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia was also discussed.
During the discussion with the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles, the two sides agreed to expand the field of cooperation, enhance the level of cooperation, and jointly invite the member companies of the Chamber of Commerce to participate in the Expo, give full play to the advantages of the platform of the Expo, serve enterprises to explore the international market, and promote China-ASEAN textile import and export trade cooperation.
