According to the General Office of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, in accordance with the Interim Measures for the Protection and Management of National Intangible Cultural Heritage (Decree No. 39 of the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China), after the procedures of recommendation, evaluation and publicity, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has identified 445 units as the fifth batch of national intangible cultural heritage representative project protection units, which are hereby announced.

Under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, in accordance with the requirements of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Intangible Cultural Heritage and the Opinions on Further Strengthening the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage issued by the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council, the administrative departments of culture and tourism in all localities should adhere to the guidance of the core socialist values, implement the work policy of "protection first, rescue first, rational utilization, inheritance and development", strengthen management, guidance, Supervise all protection units to conscientiously do a good job in the protection of representative projects of national intangible cultural heritage.
