As a child, Yang Hucheng was forced to drop out of school because of his poor family situation and relied on odd jobs to survive. With the growth of age, under various circumstances, the 14-year-old Yang Hucheng participated in the Mid-Autumn Festival, under the influence of the Wuchang Uprising, took the initiative to assist the members of the Association to resist the Qing government, and later performed well in activities such as the Dharma Protection Movement, and was favored by Sun Yat-sen and joined the Kuomintang in 1922. Yang Hucheng's sense of justice was extremely strong, and during the period of temporary residence in his hometown, he forcibly repelled the bandits and other overlords in the mountains.
Yang Hucheng was a very patriotic revolutionary general, and in the process of the Japanese invasion of China, the enemy's arrogance became increasingly arrogant, while the Nationalist government under Chiang Kai-shek was still implementing the policy of "non-resistance" and still focusing its political focus on encircling and suppressing the Communist Party. The eldest son, Yang Zhengmin, who joined the Communist Party of China during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, was an elderly revolutionary who served as vice mayor of Tianjin and other important positions in the party, especially in the petroleum industry, and died of illness in 1998; The second son, Yang Zhengzhong, and the younger daughter, Yang Zhengguo, were killed with their father in their youth; the eldest daughter, Yang Zhengkun, under the influence of her father and brother, threw herself into the revolution and became a member of the Communist Party in 1937, working diligently for the cause of our party, mainly engaged in education and cultivating outstanding talents for the country, and died in 1994; the second daughter, Yang Zhengmei, became a party member in the 1950s, mainly worked in Gansu Province, served as a deputy to the National People's Congress, and died of illness in Xi'an in 2018.
The third daughter, Yang Zhengying, became a party member and cadre in 1950 and engaged in historical research all her life until she left her post; the fourth daughter, Yang Zhenghan, was sent to the countryside for further study in the 1950s and 1960s, but in her early twenties she had the ability to bear hardships and stand hard work, and was a girl who was quite popular with the people; Yang Zhenglu officially became a communist party member in 1954, mainly studied petroleum surveying in college, and has been committed to petroleum surveying since graduation, and the young Yang Zhenghan was also in 1956 when the survey operation was carried out.
