On the 14th, the Northeast Field Army launched a general offensive against Jinzhou City, the battle lasted 31 hours, and on the evening of the 15th, it conquered Jinzhou, annihilated more than 100,000 Kuomintang defenders, and captured Fan Hanjie, deputy commander-in-chief of lieutenant general Fan Hanjie, lieutenant general of the Sixth Corps, Yang Hongguang, deputy commander of the 93rd Army, and Sheng Jiaxing, commander of the 93rd Army.
