Domestic price of 2.38 million McLaren Artura due to lack of cores caused the delivery date to be postponed

The 2022 McLaren Artura supercar was supposed to launch in the U.S. this fall, but due to the impact of car chip supply, this plan had to be postponed. Recently, according to foreign media reports, McLaren officials once again decided to postpone the delivery of McLaren Artura. Roger Ormisher, a McLaren spokesman, said the delivery of the supercar will be delayed again until next July due to more than a year of car chip shortages.

This is not the first time Artura has delayed delivery. Previously, some media reported that McLaren initially hoped to launch this supercar in the fall of 2020, but due to supply chain problems, its delivery time had to be postponed until June this year. The ongoing chip shortage has further delayed the delivery time of the car. According to McLaren insiders, McLaren is prioritizing the supply of chips for other high-margin models and has decided to temporarily halt production of the car.
