A few days ago, we learned from relevant sources that in order to commemorate the upcoming first F1 Grand Prix in Miami, McLaren will bring five special edition 720S with the same color color of the McLaren MCL36 car during the Grand Prix from May 6 to 8. The vehicles will be used for the Pirelli Hot Laps experience and will be showcased in the McLaren Hospitality Suite.

The new car follows the color scheme of the McLaren MCL36 race car in appearance, with a contrasting design of papaya orange and bay blue. In addition, there is no change between the new car and the regular version of the car.

The new car is still powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, with 720 hp and 770 Nm of torque. That's enough for the 720S to reach 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, 200 km/h in 7.8 seconds, and a top speed of 341 km/h.
