The fifth round of the 2022 Formula One Grand Prix, the Miami Grand Prix, will take place this weekend. This was the first appearance at the Miami Circuit, and before the race, the Alfa Romeo F1 team posted a preview of driver Zhou Guanyu's race on social media.
Zhou Guanyu said: "Miami station is a good opportunity for us to get back on track and continue our good work. I'm happy with the progress I've made so far and hope to continue to grow and bring home more scores. So far, I've been close to or in the top ten in most races, so we're moving in the right direction. I'm not in a hurry, I know I need to keep working hard and good grades will come naturally. Of course, even though I've driven in the simulator, the track in Miami is still brand new to me, but it's true for every driver, so for the first time in this regard, I'm on the same starting line as everyone else. As usual, we will need to do our best in every quarter of practice and qualifying to ensure that our car performs at its best. I am confident that we can achieve excellent results again this weekend. ”
The Miami Grand Prix will open a practice session at the Miami International Circuit on May 7, Beijing time, and will be held on May 8 and 9 (the specific time will be subject to the competition). This is the first time F1 has hosted a tournament in Miami. The track is built around hard rock stadium, with a lap length of 5.412km, a total of 19 corners and 3 DRS zones, and 57 laps of the main race.
