McLaren released the plug-in hybrid supercar Artura in February this year (the domestic debut was on October 9), and the estimated delivery time given at that time was in the fourth quarter of 2021. However, in a recent interview with foreign media, McLaren's official spokesperson revealed that due to chip shortages, Artura will postpone delivery until July 2022.

Not only will Artura be affected by the chip shortage, the spokesperson also revealed that McLaren is currently facing a total production cut. Originally scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2021, Artura was expected by McLaren: according to expectations, 40% of McLaren's sales in 2022 will come from Artura, which can be said to be the future of brand sales. But the delay in delivery caused by the shortage of chips will undoubtedly make this beautiful expectation completely frustrated.
