For supercar manufacturer McLaren, it is perfectly normal for its models to launch a special track version to participate in major events. However, the McLaren 570S GT4, which has not yet competed in the competition, has been launched for more than 6 years, and due to its long time, it is inferior in performance and handling compared to other cars. The good news, though, is that this could change in the near future. Recently, foreign media photographed a new McLaren car that was being tested at the Monza Circuit. It is speculated that the car may be a new track car that McLaren will launch soon, the McLaren Artura Track Edition.

According to the released video, the test car is equipped with a large spoiler at the chin of the front face, and the large rear wing is also very conspicuous, which can be seen that the track version of the model has been greatly modified compared to the ordinary version. However, due to the cover of camouflage, other details of the car have been hidden, and foreign media speculated that McLaren will provide new front and rear panels for this new car to improve the cooling system and heat dissipation of the vehicle.

McLaren introduced the Artura in early 2021, which is equipped with a hybrid system consisting of an electric motor and a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine. It produces 671 hp (500 kW) and 804 Nm of torque. However, the electric motor will be eliminated on the track version, but the V6 engine will still deliver 557 hp (430 kW) and 584 Nm of torque.
