In order to improve the mental health of community corrections subjects, help community corrections subjects eliminate negative emotions, actively cope with stress, and maintain a healthy and positive attitude. Recently, the Zunyi Compulsory Isolation Drug Rehabilitation Center (hereinafter referred to as the Zunyi Institute) gave full play to its professional advantages and dispatched the "Three Societies" police with the qualification of national second-level psychological counselors to the Suiyang County Judicial Bureau to carry out an anti-stress group psychological counseling activity for 34 community corrections subjects.
The psychological counselor first explained the formation mechanism and potential hazards of stress in simple terms through anti-stress lectures, and guided the correction staff to face and understand pressure. Subsequently, interactive methods such as relaxation therapy, stress secret meetings, and mindfulness meditation are used to allow community corrections subjects to learn effective ways to cope with stress in a relaxed and happy atmosphere, to help community corrections subjects establish a positive attitude, promote mutual support and trust, and lay a good foundation for the smooth development of community corrections work.
This anti-stress group psychological counseling activity is an exploratory attempt in Zunyi's community correction work. In the future, Zunyi Law Firm will continue to explore and innovate the work model of the "Three Societies", use its professional advantages to provide more scientific and effective psychological support and assistance for community corrections subjects, and help the pilot innovation work of the "Three Societies" achieve better results.
