As McLaren's first high-performance hybrid supercar, artura is a new model based on the McLaren MCLA (lightweight carbon fiber architecture), the biggest highlight is the hybrid power equipped with V6 engine + electric motor, 0-100km/h acceleration time is only 3 seconds. The system has a combined power of 680 hp and 720 Nm, and the drivetrain is matched with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. It has a battery capacity of 7.4 kWh and a pure electric range of 30 km.
In the aerodynamics section, Artura used a lower front end design, with a larger tilt angle of the cockpit A-pillar and a higher overall rear design, which is also typical of supercars. The headlights and taillights are also designed to fit the posture of the body, allowing air to flow more quickly through the surface of the car body and reducing the wind resistance coefficient. A large aerodynamic kit is also used under the body to increase downforce at high speeds.
The interior section artura combines sport and intelligence, and the newly designed New Generation McLaren Infotainment System (MIS II) has a full LCD meter and touch display to provide smartphone-level responsiveness and provide features such as phone mapping to further enhance its practicality. The McLaren track program and drift program are also included in this operating system, using the interface to optimize, the display is more intuitive, and the track data provided is more concise and clear.
The seat part uses a new ergonomic design, the seat fit is stronger at the same time, the opening angle is optimized, the butterfly door is closer to the body when unfolded, it is more convenient to sit in the car to close the door, and the material and style of the seat are also maintained with the overall interior of the simple design style.
