The total investment of the first phase of the project is about 350 million yuan, on the basis of the existing wheel production line of Hubei Daye Yuanji Automobile Wheel Co., Ltd., the annual production capacity of 1.2 million aluminum alloy wheels has been upgraded through technological transformation and upgrading;
The total investment of the second phase of the project is about 250 million yuan, and the new annual output of 1.5 million aluminum alloy wheels production line is built. After all the projects are completed and put into operation, they will achieve an annual output of more than 2.7 million wheels, and will become the largest automobile wheel hub production base in central China.
According to Zang Ligen, founder of Lizhong Group and chairman of the management committee, Lizhong Group chooses to invest in Daye, which is a strategic layout project for the group's development in the central region, and after the completion of this project, it will cover most of the market in the central part of the mainland, and can provide more and better supply services for well-known car companies such as Great Wall Motors, Dongfeng Honda, and Shanghai Motor, and make positive contributions to the employment and economic development of Daye City.
"The automobile wheel hub production base project is highly in line with the industrial development direction of our city, and has a positive role in promoting the transformation and upgrading of our city's industry, revitalizing high-quality idle assets, and strengthening the automobile industry cluster." Pan Xiaojin, deputy secretary of the Daye Municipal Party Committee, secretary of the Party Working Committee of the High-tech Zone and director of the Management Committee, said that in November 2021, the Daye Lake High-tech Zone officially introduced Great Wall Motors, and in less than three months, Lizhong Group also came to Ye to invest, which is of landmark significance for promoting the construction of a strong chain, integrated development, and energy level of the automotive and parts industry in the high-tech zone, further promoting the effective docking of the Daye automobile industry chain and the Wuhan automobile industry chain, and accelerating the integration into the Wuhan city circle.
