According to the data, in the first 11 months of 2021, the cumulative sales of new energy models going to the countryside have exceeded 900,000. This also means that the contribution rate of new energy models to the domestic new energy vehicle market in the first 11 months of 2021 is close to 30%.

A few days ago, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Development and Reform Commission jointly issued the "Notice on the Implementation Plan for Promoting the High-quality Development of The Industrial Economy", which also proposed again that it is necessary to accelerate the promotion and application of new energy vehicles and encourage the action of new energy vehicles to go to the countryside.

Preparations for the 2022 rural activities began

Fu Bingfeng told the "Daily Economic News" reporter that the China Automobile Association is making preliminary planning for the new energy vehicles going to the countryside in 2022. It is reported that in 2021, a total of 68 new energy models under 24 car companies participated in the new energy vehicle to the countryside, including Hongguang MINIEV, Euler White Cat, Collaway, Ben E-star, Lingbao BOX and so on.

From the perspective of categories, the models participating in the 2021 new energy vehicles going to the countryside are mainly A00-class new energy models, and the price is more close to the people, and the price after the discount is more than 100,000 yuan.

In Xu Haidong's view, the activities of new energy vehicles going to the countryside are mainly to meet the travel needs of low-income people in rural areas.

As for whether the new energy vehicle to the countryside in 2022 will join the higher price of high-end models, Xu Haidong only said that "it needs to be determined after consultation with the competent authorities."
