It is worth mentioning that ross Young, an analyst at DSCC, said that the upcoming iPhone SE Plus will use the same 4.7-inch LCD display as the current version of the iPhone SE 2, and the iPhone SE 2 itself uses the previous iPhone 8 display size. That said, Apple still insists on a 4.7-inch screen size.

Recently, there are supply chain rumors that Apple is about to trial production of the iPhone SE3 in the near future. The new iPhone SE 3 features a 4.7-inch Retina HD LCD display and a physical fingerprint Home button, while retaining a 12MP single camera design on the back, only by changing the sensor to improve the camera effect.

In addition, the iPhone SE 3 is equipped with a bloody version of the A15 processor, with an external X60M 5G baseband chip. It is expected to carry 3GB of RAM, while the iPhone SE Plus will use 4GB of RAM.

As early as 2019, Kuo predicted that Apple was developing an "iPhone SE 2 Plus" that would be released in 2021, but such a device did not appear. Kuo later retracted those claims, and all of his latest iPhone SE next-generation information suggested that the next-generation version would have the same screen size as the current model.

Kuo also claimed that the upcoming iPhone SE will support 5G, so the name "Plus" may refer to faster cellular connectivity rather than large screens.

Kuo believes that the new iPhone SE will adopt a similar design to the current model, which is based on the iPhone 8, has a 4.7-inch display, Touch ID home button, and a thicker bezel. Kuo said key upgrades to the device will include 5G support and a faster processor.

The original iPhone SE was released in March 2016 and discontinued in September 2018. The second-generation iPhone SE was launched in April 2020 and continues to be sold, with 64GB of storage set at $3,299 and 128GB of storage priced at $3,799.
