On December 17, the Guangzhou Municipal Transportation Bureau issued the "Notice on Increasing the Allocation Quota of the Incremental Indicators for Small and Medium-sized Passenger Cars in 2022", announcing that the incremental indicators for energy-saving vehicles for small and medium-sized passenger cars in 2022 will be increased to 38,000. According to the circular, the incremental indicators of energy-saving vehicles in Guangzhou next year will be evenly distributed on a monthly basis from January, and the allocation ratio of units and individuals will be 1:9.
It is worth noting that according to the "Measures for the Regulation and Administration of the Total Volume of Small and Medium-sized Passenger Cars in Guangzhou", the annual allocation quota of conventional incremental indicators is 120,000, of which the incremental indicators for energy-saving vehicles are 12,000. Guangzhou city clarified that the incremental indicators for energy-saving vehicles will increase to 38,000 in 2022, an additional 26,000, and the incremental indicators for small and medium-sized passenger cars will increase to 146,000 after adjustment.
In November this year, Guangdong Province announced that it would gradually relax the restrictions on the licensing indicators of automobiles in Guangzhou and Shenzhen to release consumer demand; in mid-December, Shenzhen relaxed the application conditions for new energy indicators, and applicants for new energy vehicles did not require holders of residence permits to pay (excluding supplementary payment) basic medical insurance in the city for more than 24 consecutive months.
