Chen Yuankai and Zhang Linrui are double police families, both of whom are very busy. In 2019, Chen Yuankai took the initiative to apply from the Lecheng police station in the urban area to the Xianxi police station in a remote area to carry out the project leadership, and the distance between the two of them was even farther.
"Originally, I didn't think about being a police sister-in-law, thinking that it was really hard for both people to be policemen, but fate let us walk together." Chen Yuankai has been at the forefront of the fight against the epidemic, and since December 7, he has basically not rested, working more than fifteen hours a day and making an average of hundreds of calls a day.
On December 9, the police station received a message from the epidemic prevention department that a red code personnel had been active within the scope of Dajing. "Only by clarifying, understanding, and leaving no omissions in his trajectory can we rest assured!" Chen Yuankai immediately joined hands with the staff of the Epidemic Prevention Office to carry out an investigation. From 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., for more than 8 hours, Chen Yuankai endured physical discomfort and identified a total of 2 sub-close contacts to eliminate the hidden dangers of the epidemic.
On December 10, Chen Yuankai took the lead in arranging the "street investigation" work in the jurisdiction according to the requirements of epidemic prevention work, and advised the masses to do a good job of self-protection. In the process of walking the street that day, it was found that a villager's health code was a yellow code, and Chen Yuankai constantly contacted colleagues present to coordinate with the township epidemic prevention office until the villager was isolated at home and ordered the hotel that violated the regulations of the epidemic prevention office to stop business for rectification.
"On duty, arranging epidemic prevention work, deploying sweeping and inspection, studying epidemic prevention and control work, video conferencing... The trajectory of his three days before his death was full of work, and his body was so uncomfortable, I don't know how he survived..." Colleagues blushed.

At about 7 o'clock on December 13, Chen Yuankai felt extremely tired, coughing and bleeding, and his family persuaded him to rest, and he insisted on going to the office for a meeting. "It's about epidemic prevention and control and key work during the year, I will definitely participate, and when I come back, I will go to the hospital!"
At 8:45, at the unit meeting, Chen Yuankai, who had always sat in a correct posture, was as usual, leaning on a chair for the whole time, and the director Zhang Chi urged him to go home and rest. He said, "Go home when you're done!"
At 9:30 a.m., Chen Yuankai organized a meeting of the business police to sort out the three types of cases being handled one by one to understand the process of handling the case and whether there were any difficulties. He said: "If there is no cooperation in the prevention and control of the epidemic, it must be severely cracked down!"
At about 10 o'clock, Chen Yuankai organized a meeting of the research and judgment room. He said: "After the clues are judged, they need to be dealt with quickly, and if there is an emergency, contact them at the first time, and I will lead the team to arrest them!"
At about 12:00 a.m., Chen Yuankai contacted Liu Jian in Wuhan to inquire about the arrest of the fugitive and remind him that he must pay attention to safety when he was arrested.
