Teacher Wang, see other people's children are all sharp teeth, envy death, want to ask you, how to make the baby language develop better?
When it comes to children's language development, many people's first reaction is to guide and exercise children to talk more. In fact, everyone ignores the important point that the child's chewing ability will also affect his language development to a large extent. So how to exercise your child's chewing ability? Let's talk about it today.
If you add complementary foods to your child too late, or if the complementary foods are made too finely, the exercise of the child's deciduous teeth, tongue, and jawbone is not enough, which may lead to poor muscle function development of his mouth, and after two or three years of age, there may be a situation of poor pronunciation or lagging development.
6-12 months is an important period for the development of children's chewing power, we should grasp the following 4 stages, reasonably arrange the types of complementary foods at each stage, and exercise the child's chewing ability.
1. About 6 months
Around 6 months is the initial stage of learning to chew and swallow, and the state of food is preferably puree or paste.
2. 7-8 months
At this time, the child's chewing and swallowing ability is further enhanced, and the complementary food can be thickened. Parents can prepare foods such as fruit strips and vegetable strips to nibble on for their children. At the same time, it can also exercise the child's grasping ability.
3. 9-10 months
At this time, the child's chewing ability and the movement of his mouth are more coordinated, parents can prepare some softer solid food, appropriately let the child chew, stimulate the growth of his small deciduous teeth, and enhance the development of jaw and facial muscles.
4. 11-12 months
At this time, you can give the child a slightly hard biscuit, or other solid food with hardness, such as cooking black corn and letting the child eat directly. If you are worried that it is not easy to digest, tell everyone a little trick, you can use a knife to cut a knife in the middle of the corn kernels, the child can directly eat the corn cob, can not eat the corn husk.
