It is reported that Volkswagen will soon launch a new version 3.0 software upgrade, for the ID.3 and ID.4 models loaded with 77 kWh battery packs, the maximum charging power will be increased from 125 kW to 135 kW, and the larger charging power will reduce the time from 5% to 80% for 9 minutes.
In addition, the 3.0 software upgrade also introduces a new battery care mode that can be charged to 80% and then stopped, in order to extend battery life.
