Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation published the Notice of the State Administration for Market Regulation on the Failure of 8 Batches of Food Sampling Inspection ([2021] No. 48)) on its website. Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation organized food safety supervision and sampling inspections, sampling 166 batches of samples of 19 major categories of food, such as catering food, edible agricultural products, tea and related products, dairy products, beverages, alcohol, biscuits, potatoes and puffed foods, soy products, bee products, canned food, vegetable products, fruit products, condiments, frozen drinks, confectionery products, infant formula foods, special dietary foods and edible oils, oils and fats and their products, and detected 166 batches of samples of 19 major categories of food, including catering food, edible agricultural products, 8 batches of samples of 4 major categories of food such as biscuits and vegetable products are unqualified. The main problems found were pesticide residues exceeding the standard, heavy metal contamination, excessive use of food additives, and substandard quality indicators.

For the unqualified food found by sampling inspection, the State Administration for Market Supervision has instructed the provincial market supervision departments in Tianjin, Jilin, Fujian, Guangxi, Hainan, Guizhou, Yunnan and other provinces to immediately organize verification and disposal, find out the flow of products, and urge enterprises to take measures such as removing and recalling unqualified products from the shelves to control risks; strictly deal with violations of laws and regulations in accordance with the law; and promptly disclose the risk prevention and control measures and verification and disposal taken by enterprises to the public and report to the General Administration.

Among them, the sampling results of edible agricultural products show that the old ginger (specification model: 200g/bag) from Guizhou Qianzhi mushroom agricultural products trading co., Ltd. sold by Guizhou Xingbox Zongheng Network Technology Co., Ltd. Changling North Road Branch was found by the Jilin Provincial Food Inspection Institute to be unqualified, and the detection value of lead (in Pb) was unqualified, the detection value was 0.19mg/kg, and the standard value was ≤0.1mg/kg. After the re-inspection by the Jilin Provincial Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute, the preliminary inspection conclusion is maintained.
