In the field of circulation, 24 batches of products produced by 24 enterprises in 8 provinces (cities) were randomly inspected, and 2 batches of products were found to be unqualified. This spot check focused on 7 items, including the outer edge size of the new tire, the height of the tread wear mark, the resistance of the tire without inner tires, the strength performance, the durability performance, the low air pressure performance, and the high-speed performance.
The failure rate of automotive seat belt spot check was 4.3%. This time, 46 batches of products produced by 45 enterprises in 12 provinces (cities) were randomly inspected, and 2 batches of products were found to be unqualified, down 7.1 percentage points from the last time. The spot check focused on three items, including lock limit value, dynamic test, and buckle opening test. Non-conforming items are dynamic tests. According to the analysis of technical institutions, the main reason for the unqualified product is that the product structure design is unreasonable, and the quality control of key components is not strict, resulting in fracture, disintegration and shedding failure of the buckle.
The failure rate of motor vehicle external lighting and light signal devices was 7.1%. This time, 56 batches of products produced by 56 enterprises in 10 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) were randomly inspected, and 4 batches of products were found to be unqualified, an increase of 2.7 percentage points over the last spot check. This spot check focused on two items, such as light distribution performance and photometric performance.
The failure rate of motor vehicle brake fluid spot check was 16.1%. In the field of circulation, 155 batches of products produced by 154 enterprises in 19 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) were randomly inspected, of which 1 batch was suspected of counterfeiting and was handed over to the market supervision department where the enterprise was located. A total of 25 batches of products were found to be unqualified, an increase of 3.4 percentage points over the last spot check. This spot check focused on five items, including kinematic viscosity, equilibrium reflux boiling point, wet equilibrium reflux boiling point, pH value, and evaporation performance.
The failure rate of engine lubricating oil spot check was 2.7%. This time, 147 batches of products produced by 145 enterprises in 18 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) were sampled, and 4 batches of products were found to be unqualified, down 2.9 percentage points from the last spot check. This spot check focused on 13 items such as low temperature dynamic viscosity, flash point, phosphorus content, evaporation loss, and boundary pumping temperature.

In the field of circulation, 78 batches of motor gasoline detergent products produced by 77 enterprises in 14 provinces (cities) were inspected, of which 2 batches were suspected of counterfeiting and were handed over to the market supervision department where the enterprise was located. At the same time, 44 batches of products were found to be unqualified. This spot check focused on 7 items such as demulsification, chlorine content, flash point, sulfur content, rust resistance/corrosion degree, simulated intake valve sediment quality and pour point, and 7 items were found to be unqualified. After analysis by technical institutions, the main reasons for the unqualified product are: First, the raw materials selected by the enterprise in the production and manufacturing process are unqualified, such as organic matter with low boiling point, resulting in unqualified items such as sediment quality, chlorine content, sulfur content, flash point and pour point of the intake valve; second, the enterprise does not add anti-emulsifiers, rust inhibitors and other materials according to regulations, resulting in unqualified rust resistance, demulsification and other items. According to the State Administration of Market Regulation, this spot check mainly involved production enterprises in Guangdong, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Shandong and other places, and 26 batches, 15 batches, 11 batches, 7 batches and 6 batches were sampled, and the random inspection failure rates were 61.5%, 40%, 54.5%, 71.4% and 83.3% respectively.
