Qincheng Prison is a very famous prison, which has held many high-level prisoners here, and is known as the "first prison". The prison was formerly known as the Second Model Prison of Beiping, also known as Gongdelin Prison.
Gongdelin was originally a Buddhist temple outside the Desheng Gate of the capital, and in the last years of the Qing Dynasty, the Qing court established the "Study Andu" here. During the Republic of China period, Gongdelin was used by Chiang Kai-shek's Kuomintang to specifically imprison patriots and dissidents.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Gongdelin Prison was transformed into a "War Criminals Management Center" to specially detain and reform important war criminals. Hundreds of senior Kuomintang generals who were captured were "educated" in Gongdelin. Such as: Huang Wei, Du Yuming, Wang Yaowu, Song Xilian, Liao Yaoxiang, Shen Drun, Zheng Tingji, Kang Ze, Dong Yisan and others.
In the early 1950s, there was a "very serious" beating of war criminals at the Gongdelin Management Office. The person who beat him was Dong Yisan, former major general of the Kuomintang Army, and the beater was Huang Wei, commander of the 12th Corps of the former Nationalist ace army.
Dong Yisan joined the revolution in his early years and was arrested by the Kuomintang in 1931. Two years later, he was released on bail but lost contact with the organization. Later, after being introduced by the students of Huangpu Phase VI, he went to work in the military command of the Kuomintang secret service organization. During the Liberation War, in June 1949, Major General Dong Yisan was captured in the Battle of Xiangfan and later reformed in Gongdelin.
Huang Wei was a first-term student of the Whampoa Military Academy, a Lieutenant General of the Kuomintang, and a former commander of the 12th Corps of the Kuomintang Army. At the Battle of Huaihai, Huang Wei was defeated and captured. Around November 1950, Huang Wei, Du Yuming, Yang Botao, and other captured Kuomintang generals were escorted to Gongdelin.
Dong Yisan was once a major general in the military command, and when he was a "secret agent," he had sharp eyes and loved to play "small reports." During his time in Gongdelin, he once reported that his colleague Shen Shen was drunk and went into the toilet to wash his clothes, and reported that someone had used the Anthology to tear up the tissue. In this regard, Dong Yisan publicly declared: "The complaint is my means of striving for progress. Dragons have dragon roads, shrimp have shrimp roads! I had to make a small report. ”
Huang Wei was the commander of the 12th Corps of the Kuomintang Army, and when he first arrived in Gongdelin, he was stubborn, very foolish and loyal to Chiang Kai-shek, full of nerds, and refused to admit guilt many times against the correctional personnel. Huang Wei said to himself: "No guilt to regret! There are only martyrs who died in battle, and there are no generals who are alive. He was also very unhappy with the rule that the lights were not turned off during the prison's night breaks, and it was unreasonable to shout.
In Gongdelin, Kuomintang war criminals studied in small groups, and Huang Wei and Dong Yisan were in the same group. The members of the group also included Liang Peihuan, former deputy commander of the Sixth Army Group of the Nationalist Army, Chen Changjie, commander of lieutenant general of the Security Command, and Lin Weili, deputy commander of the Seventeenth Corps. In terms of the official rank of that year, Dong Yisan was the lowest, and Huang Wei was the most senior.
The Kung Tak Lin beating incident occurred during a daily study class of a study group.
At that time, the Gongdelin Management Office organized everyone (Kuomintang war criminals) to study books that exposed the exploitation and oppression of the people by the bureaucrats of Chiang, Song, Kong, and Chen. When Dong Yisan read "The Four Great Families", he had just finished reading a chapter of the book. Huang Wei stood up and immediately said, "I don't agree with the remarks in the book. What Kuomintang bank? China, Jiaotong, agriculture, etc. are all four major families? Are they all From Chiang Kai-shek's family? So if this is the case, isn't there a People's Bank of China now? This bank is... A family? ”
When Dong Yisan heard this, he immediately shouted at Huang Wei, "Nonsense! You guy is so reactionary! The supreme chief is a great figure of the people, and Chiang Kai-shek is the leader of the reactionaries. ”
After that, Dong Yisan organized the members of the group to train Huang Wei fiercely and forced him to write a review.
After lunch, Huang Wei took out a notebook and sat down at the table to write. Liang Peihuan and Dong Yisan thought that Huang Wei was writing review materials, and curiously leaned over to look at them, but unexpectedly, the two of them were furious after reading it.
What Liang Peihuan and Dong Yisan saw was not a review, but a poem that scolded them: "The dragon trapped the shoal and was played by shrimp, and the tiger fell in Pingyang and was bullied by dogs..."

After listening to the reports of third parties Lin Weili and Chen Changjie, the top leaders of Gong deLin said solemnly: "This is a serious incident, and the seriousness lies in the fact that this is the first incident of beating people in Gongdelin, and beating people is a serious violation of policy stipulations."
Later, the top leaders of Gong Delin talked to Huang Wei and Dong Yisan separately. The leader criticized Huang Wei's remarks and hoped that he would continue to study and distinguish between right and wrong. At the same time, the leader also severely criticized Dong Yisan, saying that he "is right to insist on correct views and demand progress, but as a group leader, beating people with his hands does not show progress, but only shows backwardness."
After Huang Wei and Dong Yisan were criticized, they realized their mistakes and bowed their heads.
The major general of the military command knocked Huang Wei to the ground, causing his skin to break and bleed, but Huang Wei did not remember revenge. Years later, Dong Yisan and Huang Wei both worked in the consultation meeting, and sometimes they would go to the same car to meet, and Huang Wei did not pay attention to the beating that year.
