There was once a person who was the most special prisoner in Qincheng Prison, dozens of people stared at him twenty-four hours a day, and he was the only one in a district, and every time he came out, there were definitely guards following. He was imprisoned for a felony, but he was wronged by biting himself until he died.
The prisoner who had always claimed to have been wronged was called Pan Hannian, who was born in a village in Jiangsu Province in 1906 and was a fighter for the national proletariat at a young age. He has held many important positions, made efforts for the country's anti-Japanese cause, and in order to help the country cover up important military information, go around in circles with the Japanese, do not panic when things happen, and calmly hide the sky and cross the sea to help the radio transfer.
After the fall of Shanghai, it made an important contribution to helping the safe evacuation of the people. He traveled to the danger zone many times and sent the intelligence he collected to the central government for the first time, which was highly praised by the government. Pan Hannian became famous in China, and after the founding of New China, he served as the vice mayor of Shanghai. In the prison of Qincheng, the first wait is ten years. In the end, he left the prison where he stayed for ten years and was exiled to Hunan for reform, but he never gave up the hope of reversing the case for himself, but unfortunately, in the end, he was not able to wait, and after a year of going to Hunan, he died in his hometown. Two years later, his wife, Dong Hui, eventually went with her husband, and the two finally believed that they could rebel.
In 1982, their wish was finally fulfilled, and the central government reopened the case for them, eventually washing away their grievances and restoring their reputations. The urns of the two were also sent to Beijing together and placed in the revolutionary cemetery.
